Who loves sticking their finger in their eye. Why not use a tool for it? As long as you have hard and Rigid Gas Permeable (RGP) lenses it’s possible. This contact lens remover tool is specially designed for hard and Rigid Gas Permeable (RGP) lenses, providing an efficient and gentle solution for removal. Not intended for soft lenses, it's perfect for those who wear hard Simply moisten the soft suction cup, gently press it against the lens, and your lens will adhere securely for quick removal. This contact lens remover is easy to use and minimizes discomfort. I found this easy enough to use. Just make sure you get it wet to use it. I can’t see myself continuing to use this long term but I do think the quality is a good product. Read more

This is an amazing value. I now have a "plunger" in the bathroom, the kitchen, my suitcase, my backpack, on my nightstand and still have extras. I wear scleral lenses which are nearly impossible to remove without the proper tool. And, occasionally they need to come out without delay. These are firm enough to do the job and soft enough to get near my eyes without worry. They wash easily I've found that air drying them is best as they don't pick up any lint that way. I wish I could give them more than five stars and if you wear contacts and especially some form of really specialized contacts you'll understand. Read more

I wear daily wear soft contact lenses and have always had difficulty remove one contact. I saw this item and was hopeful that this could assist me with my contact lens removal. The order comes with 12 soft suction silicone contact lens removers in a nice array of colors. In addition you also receive instructions and a neat little plastic storage case. The instructions states that you need to use this item with eye drops to first moisten your lens and then follow up with using the suction device. I was very disappointed to learn that you literally are required to waste eye drops to effectively use this tool; however the website states that you can simply moisten the device with water and then use. Make sure the contact is centered on your retina prior to using this device. In addition I would highly recommend you perform small rotations to ensure adherence to your contacts. Overall, a little practice makes perfect on mastering your contact lens removal. Read more

I’ve never used a tool like this before, but I wanted to give it a try for times when I get my nails done & need to remove my lenses safely. Honestly, I didn’t like it. There is a bit of a learning curve to use properly without poking your eye. The concept is clever & the storage case is convenient for keeping everything organized & clean. Once you get the hang of it, it can be useful, but beginners should proceed slowly & carefully. Not the quickest method, but it does give you more control over lens removal once you’re comfortable. I was curious to try these and see if it was easier to get my contacts out. This comes with pretty simple instructions that I think are easy to follow but should you need more help, they let you know who to contact. There are twelve little baseball bat looking objects that come in this package. You are supposed to angle this off to the side and your contact should stick to it so you can take it out. I did not have any luck getting my contacts out using these things and I tried several times. It actually hurt my eye because it does have suction, so it sticks to your eyeball. It just hurt a bit to release it from my eye. I followed the instructions but I am going back to using my fingers-that doesn’t cause me any pain! Read more

These come exactly as described but I cannot recommend these with confidence. There's definitely a learning curve, but even so, if users are not very careful, injury is a very possible if not likely outcome. I wanted to have these for times it's not safe to handle my lenses- more than once I've been in the field at work and needed to take a lens out but my hands were too dirty and I didn't have an ideal way to get them clean enough for safe handling of contact lenses. I tried these and the suction was way too strong- even with wet eyes and very gentle pressure. It would be safer (likely best practice) to slide the lens towards the white of the eye before applying suction, but even then, the suction is/was too strong. Once removed, my contact fell off the plunger and landed on the floor!! So much for cleanliness. The first photo within the item description is practically true to actual size- it's a very, very accurate depiction of what you get worth this 12 PC. set. While these are very nice quality and seem durable, this is not a product I feel comfortable using or recommending. Read more

Handy item. These are good tools for removing your contact lens without having to touch it or risk tearing it. They do take a little practice to get use to and require the extra moisture to get a good hold of them in order to stick to the plunger. Great for beginning lens wearers to help remove. Great quality and nicely made. You receive 12 pretty plungers to be able to share or keep for yourself. Read more

The 12 lens remover tool came with directions on how to remove hard or gas permeable lenses as well as scleral lenses. Unfortunately, the tool does not help with insertion of "Intacs" for those with kerataconus. It is a separate tool with a hollow end to assist with insertion. Still. These are priced nicely, and are pretty attractive with their variety of pastel coloring. Read more
