This paddle was advertised in two versions; I ordered and received the plain version. Upon arrival it first looked as though the edges of the paddle were rough/frayed. I realized however there is a protective film that needed to be removed. Once the film was removed, the paddle was found to be smooth and shiny lexan. Although not heavy, it moves swiftly through the air and can apply a satisfying solid impact to its target. I deducted two stars in this review because the listing stated it came with a blindfold, which could have potentially have also been used for restraint purposes. The mailing envelope my paddle arrived in did not include such an accessory. It is unclear if this was a an error in listing description or perhaps was not included when packed for shipping (maybe packing the blindfold cloth folded and tied to the paddle with a simple satiny rope could be an option?)
