13inch 33cm Steering Wheel Mod for T300RS T300GT

I've driven many cars, including some rally cars, none of them have wheels as small as the one that comes with the T300RS. Looking for something larger and a more realistic size I came across this. This is the only one I have found online so far that is a full round wheel that is just a straight fit with no modifications required that still allows me to use all the factory buttons on the hub. It seems to actually be made from carbon fibre and 3d printed grip material with alcantara wrapped around it. It's much lighter and I'd even say it's easier now to drift with the larger size and the material. I find the rubber on the standard wheel to 'stick' to your hands making it a bit more grippy for letting the wheel rotate back and fore when drifting corners yet this material allows you to change grip pressure as it doesn't stick/grip your hands as much. The suede seems to be of good quality. The fit and finish is quite nice. My only issue is that the top middle of the wheel isn't the sturdiest, but you won't notice when you're using it and it doesn't appear that it will ever bend/break unless you are very hard on your equipment. On to the pros of this wheel, it is super light compared to the factory GT Pro 11" wheel. Installation took 10-15 minutes and everything fits nicely. I have noticed an increased "resolution" feeling with this larger wheel and force feedback still feels adequate provided the T300 only gives about 4nm of torque. Overall, I say this is a worthy upgrade if you're still using an 11" factory wheel. Read more

1 year later review: Excellent direct swap size increase for the T300RS with the ability to retain all of the factory buttons and paddles within reaching distance. I have at least 500 hours clocked between iRacing, drifting, and occasional rally. The lightweight wheel gives no extra burden to the motor on the wheel. I fully expected that this wheel would have snapped, or the stitching would have come off by this point, but it is still holding together strong. While the lightweight design feels great to me, that's a matter of my own preference. If you prefer a heavier feeling wheel, this might not be great for you. I highly recommend this wheel for drifting specifically. The only con I give this is also due to the lightweight design. At times it feels like the wheel can flex if I'm too rough with it, which makes me not want to try higher levels of force feedback. It's carbon fiber / 3D printed, but its very well put together, would 100% recommend. Side note just like it says definitely way lighter than the original smaller wheel. (Takes about 2 weeks to get in the US) Read more
