The media could not be loaded. I love this air conditioner. I bought it on an Amazon payment plan in the middle of July and it has worked flawlessly. This is very well priced considering most of the big box doors charge $800 or more for portable air conditioners. This is easy to move around, it is quiet, and it cools a 500 square-foot room with ease. It is not as bulky as some of the other more popular portable air conditioners. I am very comfortable in the space that it cools. I love the sweeping function that causes a wave of cool air to fan throughout the room. This thing is tough as it has endured a couple of power surges and outages. Power comes back on, and it keeps on kicking. It’s only been 30 days but so far I am very happy with it. Read more

Excellent job cooling a large area. It’s not exactly quiet, but far more tolerable than any other floor AC unit we have owned. Easy installation and sleek design. Read more

We have had this item for several weeks now. It is a bit loud but not as loud as I was expecting from some of the reviews. We live in the deep south where the sun and the outdoor ocean (humidity) try to steam you like a crab. We have one room in our house that stays hot because the sun hits it all day long. This thing has been keeping it a nice 68-70 degrees F°. So when we arr nice and steamed from being outside we can come in and chill till the next steaming. Read more

So far so good. However, it has only been 3 months since I had to replace the SECOND Toshiba AC/heater. I purchased it less than 2 years ago. The First Toshiba A/C heater quit working one week after the 1 year warranty had expired. I called Toshiba and they refused to help me and told me to hire a service repair person. Leading me to spend another $200 to have it looked at and told that it is non-repairable. Luckily, a friend told me what the error code meant and that it was Unrepairable! He saved me that $200 call. I had purchased 3 at the time and the second unit quit working about 9 months later. Had the same " non- repairable error code as the first one. Therefore, I didn't even bother with calling the company. Since I needed the exact size and type of AC for the space, I was forced to buy another Toshiba product. Therefore, I'm giving it one star based on my experience of the first two I had bought. I do NOT EXPECT it to last more than 1 1/2 years. I find that it is crazy that the old A/Cs on my property -that have been installed for 15 plus years- still work great! However, everything--every major appliance I have purchased in the past 7 years breakdown within the first 3 years of owning it. And I take excellent care of all of my appliances. I think they call it Planned Obsolescence! And they don't care that all of this excess garbage that they are creating is filling the landfills and creating heavy financial burdens on families! Companies do not stand behind their products like they used to. For instance, my Maytag washing machine has been going strong and my parents bought it for me at a used appliance store about 15 years ago! I run an Airbnb with four Cottages and I use it constantly! Nearly everyday about 6 loads are washed. Maytag=Excellent Toshiba= Planned Obsolescence -Junk Read more

So far so good. Keeps my uninsulated 12x12 shed cool even when it's 90°F+ outside. The only thing I dislike is that the lowest temperature setting on it is 64°F. We'll how long it lasts though. Read more

I have 4 portable air conditioners. 1 that quit blowing cold air after 1 year and 2 that blow air that’s not as cold as I would like. This one however blows really cold and dehumidifies. When set on dehumidifier you can tell instantly it takes the mugginess out of the air. Set on AC it cools 1 1/2 times the square footage it says does. Very happy would recommend. We will see if it lasts longer than a year. The price was right also. Read more
