Extremely happy with this purchase! The first day I used it, I used the same ice cubes in the bottle for over 24 hours. this was great after i had surgery and need the ice cold water. You don't have to use the straw that comes with it,but it does work better with it. the bottles feel like they are made heavy duty (they do NOT feel flimsy or cheap) I love the paracord handle. i am wondering if the silicone protector could be used as a traveling pet bowl? These water bottles work well for kids. They are easy to tote around on outings. The stickers included for kids to decorate are “ho-hum” so we provided our own stickers and they enjoyed personalizing them. There are two bottle tops, giving child a choice: straw or no straw. The water bottle feels like good quality, its heavy and feels durable. It is not dishwasher safe which is a little bit of a bummer but not too big of a deal. The biggest bummer for me is that it leaks. Even when the straw part is folded down if it happens to get knocked over (which happens often with my young kids) it leaks out where the lid screws on. I was suspicious of this happening because ever since we received it - it is really hard to twist shut and just doesn't seem right. I sorta wonder if it was cross threaded when we received it or something and it messed the threads up. I have checked the seal and it seems fine. The design is super cute though and my daughter loves the rainbows I just wish it didn't leave puddles on the floor when it fell over. If it wasn't leaky I would say it was a decent value but with the leaking factor from mine I wouldn't take the leap to get another. Read more
