Easy to customize for teeth whitening

These trays were quick and easy to use. I first tried to use these, per instructions, with my hottest tap water. I was too lazy to hunt for a thermometer as instructed. I was dunking for the recommended time but didn't find them very pliable. I was going to rate them poorly. Then I decided to microwave a cup of water in a pyrex measuring cup (Note: careful microwaving water - it's risky and can be explosive - google if you don't know what I'm talking about!) until VERY hot to the touch but not simmering. This time when I dunked, holding the convenient tabs, it almost immediately and visibly shrunk and softened. I pulled it out of the water and gave it a good flick, as the water droplets were uncomfortably hot but the plastic wasn't. I put in my mouth and pressed/squeezed to conform to my teeth. After about 30 second I removed and dunked in a waiting cup of cold water. The result was a perfect mold that has held up to whitening chemicals and repeated washings. So, in summary, if it is not morphing shape before your eyes your water isn't hot enough. Read more

Don't form well to teeth

These trays did not conform well to my teeth. I followed the instructions exactly and used the exact temprature of the water that was stated. I used all 14 trays that were included and could not get one to form well enough to my teeth to be useable. The trays are of a thick material that does not form well. The good news is that the seller gave me a complete refund of my purchase price when asked. Read more

Affordable. For smaller mouths. Rubbery mouthguard type material.

These dental whitening trays are a good deal. They are a rubbery type of material. They are not a stiffer thin plastic type material. They will conform easily to a shape, and have a fair amount of flex and bend even when not heated with warm water. If you have a wider bite, you might have some difficult with these. Read more
