I recently purchased the ForHelp 15.6-inch Portable Monitor, and it has far surpassed my expectations. As someone who travels frequently, I needed a reliable and portable solution to use as a MacBook PRO 17, and this monitor turned out to be exactly what I was looking for. Right from the start, the setup was incredibly simple. Thanks to the included cables, it was a true plug-and-play experience. I connected my MacBook PRO to the monitor, and within seconds, everything was up and running perfectly—no complicated configurations, no technical headaches. For someone who values efficiency and convenience, this was a major win. The monitor’s 15.6-inch size strikes the perfect balance between portability and functionality. It’s compact enough to travel with ease yet large enough to work comfortably. The display itself is vibrant and sharp, consistently delivering crisp visuals that elevate the MacBook PRO experience. Whether I’m tackling spreadsheets or streaming content, the image quality continues to impress me. I will update in a couple months and let you know how it works then. Read more

Got this as a second monitor for when I'm traveling. I'm surprised at how good it is for the money (~$76 when I bought it and at time of review). It includes all cables and a cover. It's literally plug and play - hook up the USB C from my laptop to the USB C on the monitor and voila! I have a second monitor. I'm using it with a Windows laptop so setting up the second monitor (location, which is primary, etc.) is simple: right-click on the desktop, select Display Settings. My laptop monitor is OLED so I knew that there was no way a non-OLED monitor would match it in either color or HDR. Out of the box, the colors are a bit off, but I was happy to find that this monitor it has fairly comprehensive adjustment settings. and I managed get it to be pretty good. If I wasn't comparing to an OLED screen, it would be perfect. I was recently at a cafe where someone else had a different portable monitor, one that is available here on Amazon for over $100. Neither of us could tell the difference in quality or image. Its a good monitor. Last note, I don't use the monitor for gaming so can't comment on that. The speakers work fine. They are fairly weak but I never intended to use them since my laptop speakers are very good. Overall, a very good monitor. The only thing I wish it had was a better case for transporting it. While it has a cover, a more robust case that would protect the screen from damage is almost required if you intend on putting this in your backpack, etc. I'd give this 4-4.5 stars, but for the price compared to other offerings on Amazon, it's a 5 star product. It has been a year of use for occasional work trip use, and it never fails. Makes my work on remote or changing locations to be at ease when having a second monitor. Fits well inside my work bag with my laptop. Easy simple set up. Co-workers loves it and wanted to get their own! Quality is good , performance for me is great for what I need it for! Read more

I badly needed a secondary display to take with me when I travel or work from a cafe for my 14'' MBP M4. I wanted something 1) inexpensive 2) lightweight 3) decent image quality. This display matches all of those and then some. The 2560x1600 resolution is amazing for when you need more "real estate" and don't mind small text. I run it at 1680x1050 and it's the sweet spot for a secondary code window. For watching full screen videos, the full rez is amazing, though and switching is a breeze. Power draw is very low/excellent. It drains my MBP battery about 30% faster than normal, but the trade off is more than worth it. You can also plug the screen itself to a power source and it will in fact charge (albeit very slowly) the MBP. Image quality is great, but specially great when you consider this is a $100-ish 16'' screen. If you work in the visual/creative arts it may not be up to your standards in terms of color rendition, but for every one else this travel monitor is a heck of a deal. Read more

The media could not be loaded. I've always felt the need for a second display while working on my MacBook, especially when dealing with extensive data where switching between windows isn't convenient in terms of time and productivity. I'm happy to have found such a great solution. No additional setup was required, and it worked right out of the box. Simply connecting it with a USB-C to USB-C cable between the monitor and my laptop did the trick. I also appreciate that it has speakers. Besides the USB-C to USB-C cable, it came with two more cables: USB to USB-C and HDMI to mini-HDMI - suitable for various devices, so no need to buy additional cables - they're all included! I should also note that no additional AC connection was needed, just one cable connecting the laptop and monitor, which is easy and convenient. Though I'm not sure if this setup works similarly with other devices, it's perfect for MacBook. The package also included a cover-stand. However, since I already had a tablet stand, I also placed the monitor on it for more flexibility in adjusting the angle, as the included cover-stand doesn't provide this feature. The monitor is excellent for multitasking, where multiple programs or documents need to be open. Alternatively, you can work on one monitor and watch movies or series on the other. I purchased the 1080P version, and it might be the reason why the display appears somewhat dim compared to the MacBook Pro's screen, possibly due to the Apple Retina display. However, considering I bought this monitor for less than $60, it truly explains these minor drawbacks and is well worth the price. Therefore, I recommend it to anyone in search of a second additional display. Read more
