I had been searching for a while for a reasonable portable ac unit and finally decided to try this. I started using it about 2 weeks ago for our main living area, it is an open concept space that gets quite warm in the summer. I was looking for something powerful enough to make a difference in a larger room as smaller units hadn't cut it in the past. Setting it up was fairly simple. The window kit worked with our sliding window, and while installing the exhaust hose took a few minutes, it wasn't complicated. The unit itself has wheels, so moving it into place was easy. Our living room is roughly 600-700 sqft can now be kept at a comfortable temperature on very hot days. I set it to around 70-72°F and it brings the temperature down effectively. The adjustable fan speeds are useful, I usually keep it on medium for general cooling, and the highest setting can really push cold air into the room quickly if needed. The dehumidifier also works well, and I've noticed the air feels less muggy when it's not extremely hot. I haven't had to drain it manually much as the self evaporating seems to handle most of the moisture. I only connected the drain hose once during a particularly humid stretch just in case. The fan mode is decent for just circulating air. It does quiet down in sleep mode, which is important for us since our living room is closed to bedrooms. While it’s not silent, it’s much less intrusive than when it’s running at full power. The 24hr timer is also handy for setting it to turn off after we go to bed. Overall, we are happy with the upgrade to our living room. Read more

I’ve been using the TECXERLLON 15000 BTU portable air conditioner for a few day now, and I must say, it’s an impressive unit. It cools my large living room (about 750 sq.ft.) quickly and efficiently, even during hot afternoons. The 4-in-1 functionality is a huge plus – I especially love the dehumidifier and sleep mode. It runs quietly enough at night, and the remote control makes operation super convenient. One minor downside is that the exhaust hose feels a bit short, which limits placement options unless it's right next to a window. It would be great if they included a longer or more flexible hose. Other than that, it’s an excellent purchase. The build quality feels premium, setup was easy, and the 24-hour timer is a lifesaver. Highly recommend for anyone looking to cool a large room without installing a window unit. Read more

Completely out of its league in a truly hot environment like south Florida, unit recently ceased to function as well and it's not even at the six month mark. Easily 280 bucks too expensive and will MURDER your wallet more on electricity. Literally died overnight, it's a 150lb paperweight now because literally nothing turns on on the display (like say an error code or flashing light). I paid, with taxes, 600+ dollars for this thing. It generates massive amounts of water despite claiming to be able to run as a closed system. It doesn't! Instead it will suddenly flood your whole house unexpectedly. Drainage system is also maddeningly finicky, usually I have to ensure it's slightly angled back by shoving a small spacer under the front. Even then, not always reliable and flooding prone and/or shunting the water to the bottom tank despite not being set to dry..Definitely doesn't cool anywhere near the space it claims to be able to and is just short of useless at temperatures above 88-90 degrees, barely keeping a space habitable (With the assistance of a massive 20 inch metal fan to boot!) in these conditions. At 82-85 or below, it works like a champ however most of the US in summer is much hotter than that now from July-September. A massive waste of money for the performance, problems and false claims. Don't buy it. Read more

I couldn’t be happier with this portable AC during this heatwave! I bought it for my livingroom and it’s been an absolute lifesaver. It cools the room down quickly. The setup was a breeze (took me under 15 minutes), and I love that it comes with a remote and multiple modes. The design is sleek and doesn’t take up much space, and the wheels make it super easy to move. The noise level is quite manageable as well. Overall, this portable air conditioner is worth every penny. If you’re looking for an affordable, efficient, and easy-to-use cooling solution, I highly recommend this one. It’s been a lifesaver during the recent summer heat! Read more

I found this 15000 BTU portable air conditioner is simple to set up and can cool down the room quickly. This portable AC unit has features like a dehumidifier, fan, sleep mode, and 24-hour timer and even comes with a remote control for convenience. This portable air conditioner is easy to transport from one space to another due to the wheels on the bottom. It comes with the window installation kit but will need tape or so to seal the surrounding area on the window to prevent the mix of hot and cold air. Nonetheless, it takes me less than half an hour to install, and it needs some cutting on the installation window kit plate in order to fit the window width. It's a three-in-one product that doesn’t need to take up too much space and avoids bugs coming in through the window. It meets my needs and works great so far. On the other hand, the sound from this portable AC unit is loud, but that’s what most of the ACs have. Nevertheless, the quality is good, and it serves the purpose of keeping my room nice and cool. AC unit functions okay as long as the temperature in the room is under 90 degrees Fahrenheit. At temperatures over 90 degrees, the unit overheats and only blows warm air Read more
