Purchased for a car window tint. A hair dryer dies not give enough heat even with a long duration. You will need a heat gun for shrink a tint film or other daily stuffs such like shrink tube, replacing a golf club head, etc. a good and money saving investment. Read more
Havent tried it yet but right out the box it looks beat up and used... No label on it just makes it seem that much more sketchy... Plus I got it for desoldering on circuit boards and on the paper it comes with it says shaping and welding pf plastic materials... So does that mean im going to melt my board and not the solder like intended? Read more
Having used a Harbor Fright cheap heat gun for almost 2 years until it failed, I can say this one gets the job done and costs less! Hopefully it lasts as long or longer! Read more

Very disappointing purchase. It went up in smoke the very second I plug in and turned it on. Flames coming from the nozzle area. Had to open up the doors to get rid of the smell. Returned it the same day, took a smaller, cheaper one that worked like a champ. Read more
