I love this blender. I was apprehensive about buying it because it was so much cheaper than other powerful blenders but after reading the reviews, I decided to take a chance. I’m so glad I did. It’s much quieter than my last blender (Ninja) and the difference in power is huge. My smoothies are actually “smooth” now. I add frozen spinach, berries, ice and protein powder with a little nut milk and it ends up totally smooth. I like it really thick so I have to use the stick thing but it comes out perfect. The controls are simple and easy to use and I love that to clean it, you can just put a tiny bit dish soap with water in it, pulse a few times and rinse. The only down side for me is the size. It’s a bit of a monster and as others have said, it doesn’t fit under the kitchen cabinets. The cover that makes it quieter obviously makes it bigger. I keep it in a cupboard so it’s not a big deal. The noise-reducing cover wasn’t necessary for me, and it turned out to be much bulkier than expected, so I just removed it and use the blender without it. As a test, I blended two apples without adding water. Because the jar is so large, the apples scattered around and didn’t collect well into the cup—which was partly my fault for not adding liquid. But it did show me just how big and heavy-duty this blender is. At first, I didn’t realize it had a pulse button, so I was shaking the blender to loosen the apples stuck on the blades. Later I found out the pulse button works perfectly for that—super handy for quickly freeing up any ingredients that get stuck. For everyday small batches, it might feel oversized, but if you’re like me and often go camping or travel with large groups, this is perfect. This blender is a good bargain for how well it works, really powerful & good quality - very comparable to the super expensive name brand blenders in the stores but at a fraction of the price. Due to the protective cover, the noise is minimal. Easy to clean - good 'self-cleaning' mode too. Has a lot of features but pretty user friendly & easy to use. I really like the measurements written on the side. Great sharp metal blades easily demolition anything it comes in contact with. I have no complaints - works great & should last a long time.
