I don't think I paid much attention to the measurements, it was bigger than I thought it would be but that worked out perfect. I take it on beach trips with the kids or when I worked out of my car a lot I could pack a whole days worth of drinks and meals on the road. I like that it's soft so it's easy to store when not in use. The side pockets make smaller snacks or gear easy to get to. Straps make it easy to carry. I never had it tip over so I'm not sure if it would leak from the zipper area but I think because it's a soft cooler, it's harder to tip over on accident, seemed to stay in place much better than the hard coolers I've used in the past. I love this lunch bag & I get lots of compliments on it at work! I work 12 hour shifts & this is spacious enough to hold everything I need in it with room for more! I love that the Velcro is sewed into one of the handles on the top & that I can connect the two straps for easy carrying using the velcro.
