This extension cord is a great cable, and I have too many cables to compare to sadly. It’s a solid 16/3 gauge, feels well-made, and doesn’t have that flimsy “one strong breeze away from disaster” vibe that cheap cords sometimes have. For the price, it’s a great value. I’m using these for Christmas lights, and the 10-foot length is perfect. Long enough to reach where I need it, short enough that you’re not coiling up 40 feet of extra cord and pretending you’ll “organize it later.” The insulation feels thick and durable, and the plug fits snugly into outlets without wobbling or falling out. Being rated for outdoor use is a big plus. It’s handled rain, cold nights, and general holiday chaos without any issues. The black color also helps it blend in better around bushes, railings, and dark trim instead of screaming “temporary wiring” to the entire neighborhood as I get with the orange cables I have. This purchase was based on price alone initially, and I like them and would by them again if i needed. Read more

For the price, this cord works just fine for light use as intended. I only use it for fairly light duty use as I recognize that it's an inexpensive off-brand cord, and it's 16 gauge which means it's not rated for high current equipment. The 13 amp rating is telling as most are rated for 15 amps. It will power holiday lights, fans and other fixtures without any issue. I would not recommend it for high current items like electric lawn tools, heaters, compressors and such as it would likely have voltage drop due to heat resistance, which is bad for motors, and could also cause a fire risk (this is the case with any brand cord, don't overload them). The black color is good for blending into the background, we tape these down for events at times, but if you leave them outside you have to consider that people with weed trimmers and mowers may not spot them like they would an orange cord. The 25 foot length is perfect for me as my use case doesn't need a longer one, and it saves me from having a big coiled cord to deal with. It's lightweight and flexible to roll up for shipping, as well. If you need a longer length, you might also consider buying a heavier gauge cord like a 14 or 12 gauge (note, the lower the number, the heavier duty the cord will be). Potential negatives: This cord is not UL Listed, so while it is an outdoor cord, I would not recommend using it as a permanent outdoor cord, or in wet areas (if you do, be sure you have GFCI outlets!). It does claim to be ETL rated, but there are no real checks for that, so use it with caution. In addition, this cord has a shiny coating and almost feels a little sticky. It's fine for now, but it seems like it might be the kind of material that turns into sticky, gooey tarry gunk when the sun starts to break it down. I can't say for sure as I've not had it long enough, but for the price I paid if it starts to fail, I'll replace it. Read more

I’m keeping this short because the quality speaks for itself. This isn't a cheaply made cord. It handles rough conditions—sun, rain, and being dragged across the yard—extremely well. I’m glad I chose this over the more expensive name brands. I saved money and got a reliable new addition to my garage. Best of all, I don't have to waste time daisy-chaining short cords together or worrying about a faulty connection. It just works. Read more

Cords looks to be good quality. Black cord vanishes in mulch (using for Christmas lights). Length is great, only annoying thing was it is coiled and the cord wants to keep the shape until it warms up a bit. Happy with the purchase. Read more

This outdoor extension cord has been one of those “quiet winners” in my tool stash. It doesn’t call attention to itself, it just works. I needed a reliable outdoor cord for holiday lights, yard tools, and occasional power needs around the patio, and this one has handled everything without complaint. Right away I noticed how solid and well-built it feels. The insulation is thick and feels genuinely weather-resistant, not just “spray-painted waterproof.” Even after a few rainy days and some chilly evenings, it shows no signs of cracking, fraying, or stiffness. It stays flexible and easy to coil and store. The length is just right for most backyard tasks. It's long enough to reach where you need it without dragging extra cord everywhere, and the plugs are solid, snug, and don’t feel like they’ll loosen over time. Whatever you’re powering outdoors, it feels secure and safe. If you want a dependable outdoor extension cord that won’t let you down when you really need it, this is a great choice. Read more
