It’s well built. It didn’t smell like chemicals or offgas. I do wish the inner pockets, elastics were wider. They’d work well for chisels & screw drivers. Read more

I was so thrilled by this tool bag: great capacity, lots of pockets (15 canvas, three netted/mesh), sturdy workmanship, comfortable when carrying or lifting. This is my sailboat tool bag, and the envy of a lot of the skippers I work with. I can carry my tools, my repair kits (fiber glass, gel coat,) parts (snaps, rings, pins… etc.) and it’s deep enough where I don’t have to have a lid, but I’m also not worried about tools spilling into the river. I love the built in pockets on the inner (3) and outer layer (12) where I can keep my writing utensils, clamps, screwdrivers, gauges, flash lights separated and ready to grab. It also has a divider for papers and magazines, which I find useful for carrying diagrams, tracings, sketches and sail logs from boat to boat. The strap is hardy and the perfect length for me for the shoulder, the handle bar likewise is the perfect height, AND so cushy! I love that it was black and hard to tell when you get it dirty. So at first I was upset when I got some white gel coat (paint) on it - then realized it gave me more street creds. 🤣. Read more

This is a really well made tool caddy. It is made of a thick synthetic waterproof canvas, with three collapsible stiffening panels (at the bottom and on both short ends). Once you slide those panels into place, the caddy is very stable. It has lots of pockets of various sizes. On the front, there are five canvas slip pockets, two mesh pockets, and a velcro section for attaching a patch. On the back, there are five canvas pockets. On one of the short sides, there are two canvas pockets, and on the other, there is one mesh pocket. On the inside, the back has three canvas slip pockets. You could also treat the side stabilizing panels as pockets as well. The carrying handle is steel and seems quite strong, with a comfortable foam grip at the top. The side D rings for the shoulder strap, which has a padded sleeve, are very sturdy, so you could conceivably attach things to those as well. Overall, this is a highly functional caddy. However, there are a few negatives. The bottom has four large, hard plastic feet, but even with the stabilizing panel, the bottom sags some, so the feet will not keep the bottom of the bag off the ground. The bag is also quite heavy, at just over three pounds empty. Finally, the bag does have a petroleum odor. I had considered using this inside for art supplies, but until it offgases, it will be staying in the garage. Read more
