These have one surface that grabs onto the leg or surface of your furniture (with using any adhesive) - the other surface is felt - slides well. They are rigid enough that they don't sag into the cracks and grout channels of stone or tile floors. Another interesting use: we just down-sized and have the proverbial 10 lbs of "junk" in a 5 lb bag. The casters make it easy to reposition furniture, repeatedly, singlehandedly, leaving no scratches and no lifting. Used the bigger ones on the couch and heavier book shelves, the smaller ones on tables and any chairs that are too heavy to just pick up to move. The grand kids steal them for impromptu shuffleboard. I use these under my furniture on my hardwood floors, and they are working as intended. I tried adhesive backed pads previously, but they would fail and then the furniture legs would spread adhesive and scratches on the floor. I like these foam backed sliding pads - the furniture settles into the foam to lock them into place and I have had no problems with them slipping off. Plus, these come in a large bundle that gives them a great value. Read more

3.5 inch furniture movers for hardwood floors A good size to fit under the legs of a table or dresser, and slid across the floor with no difficulty and no scratching. Very sturdy for multiple uses and because of the softer side it keeps the furniture level if you leave them on all the time. Leaving them on allows for moving the furniture easily and cleaning underneath. They appear well-made and I don’t expect him to fall apart. Read more

I’m using these on a ceramic tile floor. They do in fact make moving heavier items easier, though to say they glide is a bit much. I am much less concerned about scratching the tiles when I use these. For the money, they are worth it. Read more

I installed new laminate floors through an entire floor of my house and was extremely concerned about moving the kitchen and laundry appliances and recliners around the house. I was nervous about sliding anything across the floor but these did the trick. I was able to slide the oven, washer, dryer and recliners across the floor by myself with extreme ease and there weren't even any traces that something had touched the floor. They easily slide under and out of the feet when you take the pressure off but stick to them as you move. Read more

These are two-sided a light colored felt side and a black foamy side. The directions state that the light side faces down and the black side faces up. Just remodeled our basement and put down luxury vinyl tile. Wanted to protect our investment so I bought a pack of these. They seem to do the trick as far as protection, but I thought they would also slide fairly easily enabling me to move furniture by myself. We have some hard bottomed ones that work amazingly well on carpet, heavy furniture glides so I thought this would be a similar experience. It was not. Furniture does not glide, it will move but it's not an easy process. But definitely does protect the floor so I won't return these even though I was hoping for the ability to be able to slide my furniture around easily. Read more

These worked great and they stay in place very well. I had extra after putting them under my couch legs, so I put them under my coffee table as a temporary fix (it doesn’t really have legs, just long broad based on either side) but these worked so perfectly I forgot I was going to look for anything else. They work great! Read more
