This past winter was extremely harsh. For months the temperature averaged below freezing, and we had several snow blizzards, with two of them each dropping more than two feet of snow. Needless to say, walking to the shed to grab tools was a miserable experience, and one I definitely do not want to repeat. And because I never want to walk back in the cold to return the tools to the shed, they end up getting cluttered in one of my drawers, closets or in a box. Because of that, I started looking for a lightweight tool bag where I could keep my most commonly used tools organized inside my house, and this way I don't have to make those trips to the shed during the cold winter months. This tool bag ended up being a great find. The open-top design makes it very easy to grab tools quickly, and the large number of pockets helps keep everything organized instead of piled together. Most importantly, the bag feels well-made and durable, with thick material and a solid frame. It is definitely a heavy-duty bag designed to store tools and not tear. Now, it does come with shoulder straps, but I didn’t use them because the metal handle with the padded grip is designed in a way that makes it very easy to hold and carry the bag around. It is so much better to carry around than a metal tool box. This tool bag is a great way to store and carry around your most commonly used tools. It is a heavy-duty bag that is designed to store tools but at the same time it is much lighter and easier to carry around then traditional metal tool boxes. I am confident it will last me for years and is definitely worth its price. Read more

One pocket in the front has a velcro closing flap (large tape measure size) and the sides have netting pockets. A shoulder strap is included that clips on the sides. I have many tool bags, but this open-top one is the most useful when repairing things because all your tools are easily visible and portable. For years, I’ve been toting my tools around in a 5 gallon bucket. While it works just fine and it is quite practical for a lot of reasons, I’ve nonetheless been wanting a tool tote for when I’m doing projects around the house. When Amazon offered to send me this tool bag, I knew I wanted to check it out and share my thoughts. I’m really glad that I did. This tote is very durable. It is made of something like Oxford cloth. It features many pockets, both inside and out. It folds flat. It has three flaps inside of it that fold and Velcro to hold it stable.
