Good: Good quality, sturdy materials, great price for what you get. Bad: Nothing significant. Bottom line: I'm using this as a carrying case for a cordless impact wrench, battery and charger. Does the job, and I suspect it'll last a long time. Five stars. Read more
We'll need to revisit this once we've used it a few times. It is used to store the foot bars for some art stands and the various parts and tools that go with it (USB lights, screws, clips, tools) and of the 3 we tried this one the one that both fits the best and had the highest quality. We think for our purpose this is exactly what we wanted. I suspect the carry handle is going to tear off some day--that seems to be the only weak point. When that happens we'll clip on a shoulder strap or sew on new handles. It may be fine for a decade, we'll see. Right now if you need this size bag I would absolutely recommend it. It won't compare to a Veto Pro Pac, both in quality and price (this is so much less expensive), but if you've seen historical tool bags, this is it. I'm sure it'd hold more than you'd want to carry. I ordered a large (20 inch) tool bag for my emergency snow shovel that I keep in the car during the winter. The bag is a little large, but the next size down (18 inches) would have been too small. Some reviewers wrote that this bag reminds them of the old US Army tool bags. Well, maybe it does in terms of its color and design, but its material is nowhere near the quality of the old Army surplus bags that I have. The seller claims that this bag is made of "heavy duty canvas", but that may be true only in relationship to other inexpensive canvas bags sold on Amazon. I would call this material "medium duty" at best. In other words, if you expect to get an Army-quality tool bag, this ain't it. Frankly speaking, given the low price, you should not even expect an Army quality heavy duty tool bag. It's good enough for my purpose - storing an emergency snow shovel in the trunk of a car is not exactly "heavy duty use" - but I would not use this bag to lug heavy tools to the jobsite day in and day out. Bag's inside dimensions, seam to seam, are: Length = 19 inches Height = 9 inches Width = 7 inches Nominal dimensions listed on sewn-on tag: Length = 520 mm = 20.5 inches Height = 260 mm = 10.2 inches Width = 190 mm = 7.5 inches Read more
These canvas bags come in handy for storing hard metal and sharp tools. The bags don't easily puncture as they are made of good quality with good reinforced stitching. I bought several of different sizes and stenciled the name of the contents. They should last for years. Read more
The canvas reminds me of an Army tool bag I had long ago. Well-made, with a heavy duty zipper (very important). This bag is tough enough for the decades of abuse it will endure. Would definitely buy again, but i won’t have to. Size s handy for being on the go. Canvas is good and thick and the value is good. Love this! Read more
OK bag… serviceable… if you liked "the Imp" in Game of Thrones, you'll probably dig this bag. But... the dimensions are a bit strange when you see the bag in person. It would actually be a pretty good book bag for (e.g.) one thick hardback history volume. the nylon material feels about the right weight for containing a book or small notebook or drawing pad. Tools would probably tear holes in them over time. The design is pleasant: the light greenish (vaguely military but not OD Green) color is nice; the yellow accent tab at the zipper pull helps you open it; the longish dual strap handles are unpadded but easily go over your arm for carrying 2+. It would be good if the makers could produce other dimensions, i.e. longer, thinner, wider (but the same height/handles). We're keeping the two we bought (plan: one holds our two DeWalt electric screwdrivers the second is the spare battery bag). They're not quite the right shape/size for the screwdrivers, but they'll each hold 3-5 batteries. Read more
