Since we were having out-of-town guests for a couple of weeks I decided to put a bed downstairs so as to allow for privacy.. However, I wanted one that was an adequate size, was easy to assemble, and would not break the bank. After researching several styles and brands, I decided on the DiaOutro Twin-XL heavy duty bed frame. There are several sizes to choose from. It is made of reinforced metal slats and is very sturdy and the Integrated structure makes the bed frame noise free. In addition, standing at 18 inches tall makes it suitable to place items under the frame rather than cluttering up a room. I order the bed frame from Amazon and it arrived on the anticipated date. After opening the box I checked to make sure all the parts had been placed in the box (is is typically a major problem). But, much to my surprise all the parts were in the box, and in fact, there were extra bolts and nuts. The assembly instructions were well written and easy to follow. In addition, the instructions contained pictures for step-by-step directions (for those that are visual learners). The box contained metal slats for extra sturdiness. All the tools you need was effectively packaged in the box. Installation can be done quickly even by one person, with just a few steps to complete. The metal has a black powder-coated finish which adds an exquisite look to this extra tall platform bed frame. There are 3 holes in each of the legs of the bed frame allowing for the installation of a headboard and footboard if desired. I think most people that buys items for self assembly that are concerned about all of the parts being in the box and the level of difficulty putting the item together. Not only were the parts all in the box, the company provided extra nuts and bolts and even the tools needed for the assembly. Also, the box contained four pieces of plastic that fits on the corners to prevent someone from injuring themselves. I am a psychologist and not very machinal, but I was able to put this bed frame together by myself and within 30 minutes. While the metal slats allows for for extra sturdiness, I still had the hardware store cut me a 1/2 inch piece of plywood to the dimensions of the bed frame to ensure sturdiness and firmness. This is an excellent bed frame that comes in various sizes. It is easy to assemble, very sturdy, and cost effective. You won't go wrong with this 5 star reviewed bed frame. Read more

I actually build the frame by myself and it was in overall easy to assemble. It was packaged organized and instructions were clear. I personally weigh 220lb and have sat and sit on the frame with no problem. This frame was for my daughter who at the moment was getting tall for the toddler bed so I purchased this frame before the Full twin. Excellent Buy and also, it doesn’t weight a lot, one person can lift it up but can be transported by folding the frame in half 👍👍 Read more
This is a good, sturdy bed frame. It is easy to put together and a perfect fit for a full size mattress. I am not putting a footboard on the bed so I wish that they had plugs, or something, to fill the holes that are pre-made to attach. The footboard holes make it look a little unfinished. This is a 18" frame and there is plenty of room under the bed for storage. Read more

I bought this as an option for my new medium firm mattress since my previous bed frame requires a box spring. I wanted a low bed because I have a full size and my toddler likes to sleep with me. The 7 inch one is great for us because she can get on and off easily - since I am petite (4’11 100 lbs), I also have no problems with it. It also prevents my dog and toddler from running and hiding under the bed since it is low enough, which is good (unexpected benefit of it) Under the bed, you can fit anything comfortable that is 5 inches or shorter in height. As far as the comfort, the first night felt different because it is lower than my previous bed frame but after that, I felt so much better that the bars actually hold up my medium firm mattress (10 inches) with enough support that our weight is evenly distributed, no mattress sagging! I am happy with this investment - given it costed less than some box springs and includes everything in one: frame and bars. Very easy to move around when putting the mattress sheets on and doing your bed every morning and I wake up feeling comfortable - no stiffness. For Assembly, every part is labeled with a letter. The instructions are diagrams showing you what to do. All tools included - at first you may thing it is too small but that must be eyes playing a trick because it is just the right size for my full size mattress. My dad took about an hour to put things together - with interruptions from my toddler and his movement limitations (he has a bad leg). That being said, as I watched, it appeared to be very simple to put together. I even was able to help him and I am not super skilled at putting things together. The allen key and mini wrench are easy to use. I hope this is helpful in making your choice! Read more

As expected and easy assembly and directions. One nut on each corner leg has a weird angle to get at with the wrench but still easily assembled. Comes with extra hardware and tools needed to assemble. Each rail is partially assembled and hinges for shipping. Read more
