Excellent quality, very sturdy!
I ordered this to replace another bed frame with a different style of construction. A weld had come loose and it collapsed under the body weight of someone 100+ lbs lighter than the frame's limit. This frame had a bit of assembly, but for the quality and sturdiness, that was a small price for the peace of mind that this was not going to collapse. The tabs hold the mattress securely. The senior person using this feels much more secure now and even though he is taller than average, he likes the lower height, says it's much easier to put on his socks and shoes. Read more
easy to put together, even for a fat 54 year old lady like me
The description said it was used so I was a little worried it might be damaged or missing pieces but everything was there and in perfect condition! It was easy to put together and fits my full size box spring and mattress perfectly! I know I don't have to use the box spring but the effort and money involved in bringing it to the dump is what made me put it on the frame . I'm a cheapskate! I guess I'm just old fashioned. How can you just have a frame and a mattress and no box spring! That's just WRONG! 😆My bed is now 31 inches high. I have to sort of jump to get in it. I might remove the boxspring one day. I'm going to buy a step-stool so I don't have to leap into bed for now. One note on putting it together - if it's a tight squeeze getting the metal slats in because you're like me and tightened the bolts too tight - use a rubber mallet to gently pound them in. Read more

Everything is included that you need to put it together. Very sturdy, does not flex and walk on my solid surface floor like my old bed did. Doesn't make any noise. The mattress holder brackets are plastic and you don't need use them if you don't want to. Overall I'm happy with the purchase. It took a minute for it to get here, but it was worth the wait. Assembled it last night and it slept great. Comprehensive instructions and easy to assemble if you pay attention to the details. Everything to make assembly easy is in the box, including the coolest little ratchet tool to save your fingers and wrist when tightening the bolts. There are extra parts for future needs.
