The media could not be loaded. This is a really great hair dryer. It was worth the cost, which I didn't think was that expensive. The noise level of the hair dryer does not bother me as it is no more than others that I've used and the power and air flow is strong between the two settings. The cord could be a little longer. I cannot comment on the lifespan as I've only had this product for a short period of time and used it only twice as of this review. I previously bought a black Hot Beauty midsize blow dryer from a brick and mortar store but when I went back to the store to buy another one, they were out of stock so I bought the purple one from Amazon. I was wondering what the difference between the purple and black (I already own AND love my black midsize one) is but I think that they are the same except the color. I have yet to use the purple one but I assume that it will work just as well as the black one. What I like about Hot Beauty blow dryer with detangler attachment: dries fast (hot enough and I don’t have to spend time fighting with a detangler comb that keeps popping off); detangler attachment stays on even with kinky hair (other blow dryers with detangler attachments that I have tried before easily detach from blow dryer when you try to use it on kinky hair; this one so far has not done that and I love that); combs do not break (the detangler comb is thicker and more durable than others that I have tried in the past); easy to hold (it is not too big for my little hands and it can get hot but I am used to holding hot stuff so when I hold it closer to where the detangler and blow dryer interface, it is not too hot for me but so one less used to hit might want to get heat resistant gloves if you hold it close to The detangler attachment like I do). It doesn’t get hot when holding the dryer at the designed handle (purple part near the switches). The body of the purple one noticeably seemed to be made of plastic that doesn’t seem durable (didn’t notice that about the black one) but I plan to take good care of it so that it is no dropped so that it doesn’t crack or anything. I have been really good with the care of the black one and plan to do the same with the purple one. I use it to dry hair (which as I said goes really goes fast) and I put it away immediately. When I love something this much, I usually buy it again. This dryer is a great value for the money! Read more

The Hot Beauty 1875 hair dryer does the job and is a nice, small size. It puts out a lot of air. However, it doesn't seem to be as hot as other hairdryers I've experienced. So, I've taken one star; I feel it could be warmer. The price, though, may make up for the cooler temperature. Read more
I really like this hair dryer! Even on the lowest heat setting, it dries my hair really fast. It is perfect for after a long day of detangling and washing my hair when my arms feel like jello. What really impressed me is how gentle the comb attachment is.I was worried the teeth would be to small and pull my hair, but t glides through without tugging or pulling to much. It get my hair in state to be able to work with it better rather I am braiding, twists or put into a ponytail. I do wish the cord was a little longer, but other then that I would highly recommend!! Blow dryer is of good quality. It dries hair at a minimal speed. The noise level is regular for a blow dryer. It is not too big so it is travel size. The power is good so far. Read more
Love this hair dryer. Quick drying and I have thick hair. I have not tried the comb attachment yet. Not a heavy dryer which makes it easier to handle and style my hair.
