Buyers beware. this is a terrible TV. The color is awful; you are given only several vague choices for color that they label sports or cool or two other names like medium or something. When you click on color/brightness/etc. these respond only in leaps and bounds to what you're offered so you seldom get what you want -- I never did. The sound control is worse: dots indicate how loud and clicking on them takes click after click to raise or lower the volume even one level. Even the levels are bad and there's no intermediate clicks to give what you want. Furthermore, down at the one-dot level it's pretty quiet and then someone on screen screams and that blares out at you. What's the deal? I gave up and bought another brand TV and will try to return this but will throw it away if returns don't work out. Read more

The description shows an Amazon FireStick as an option. I have one and plugged it in, then switched input to HDMI. So far, so good. But then I tried to pair it up with the TV so I could use the FireStick power on/off and volume buttons the way I do my other sets. No IR code was found. I sent the vendor an email and they said to use the TV remote for on/off and volume/mute and use the FireStick for everything else. They sent me a JPG that showed a 4 digit (hex) code, but the FireStick setup only allows digits 0-9 Also, the volume is quite low. I had to buy external speakers that use the headphone port. I happened to have USB based speakers that work on my laptop, but they didn't work on this TV. My other issue is that the Menu gives very few options for customizing the screen. I find it to be way too bright and there's no way I could find to turn it down enough to help. The best thing I can say about it is that it is available. It is very hard to find 19/20 inch TVs with a center stand (a few come with legs that stick out farther than the edges of the TV). The cabinet I keep that TV in won't take anything larger. Read more

I went many rounds of email conversation with their tech support people over the descriptive audio always being present, or football games always switching to Spanish. The language barrier was obvious, I finally figured out that the TV defaults to the secondary audio every time you change the channel, regardless of what settings you make in the 'setup' and 'options' and 'sound' menus. So if you're not blind, and you are an English speaker, you will need to re-select English from the 'Audio' button any time you are watching network programming from an off-air antenna. Also, the channel number button layout on the remote is unique, to say the least. I can still use this unit in my RV, but too inconvenient in my kitchen, I will buy a different on for in there. I bought this TV to replace current RV TV. TV has never worked properly. The AV connectors in back of TV defective and are loose. The coaxial cable connector will not screw in because of angle of back of TV very poorly designed . We are in the road and have no other TV so we are dead in the water in this one. It seems we are seeing more and more defects from products we are buying off of Amazon. Amazon get your act together and pay attention to customer reviews. Read more
