The design of this thing is awful. It is low quality, cheap plastic feeling. It is a horribly thought out phone holder. The fit of the actually holder is way too tight and the clamp that is supposed to go in the mirror is way too big. You can't get it into the right position even and the little nut that you use to tighten the little clamp thing down is just really not designed well. Sure, it securely holds your phone, but rest assured it will flopping all over the place and you won't be able to see anything anyway. Read more

I'm on the fence with this one. It's got some issues, but nothing major and at this low, low price point I don't feel like I have a right to complain about minor annoyances. It was hard to get enough torque on the cinch ring to keep the unit tight enough on the mirror stalk to keep it from wobbling around. The lock joints have a lot of slop in them. I had to get the lock joints at their most extreme position to get my phone up on the bottom edge of the mirror. In fairness, once I managed to get things tight and adjusted the thing never lost positioning even with the weight of my Pixel 8a in it and on bumpy rural gravel roads. It bounced around due to the slop in the joints, but it never spun on the mirror stalk and the joints all held their setting. So in the end I don't know that I'd use this as a daily driver, but I think I might consider this a good temporary solution to an immediate problem due to the low cost and the fact it did technically do the job it was bought to do. Not particularly impressively, but it did it. Read more
