1x32ft Hook and Loop Straps with 50 Metal Buckles Adjustable Fastening Cable Straps Cut-to-Length Cinch Strap Reusable Nylon

I got this velcro strapping to contain a rolled up piece of 6" foam used when I camp. I can roll it up very tightly and secure the bundle with two straps. Securing foam in a tight bundle creates great tension for any strap. The buckles are simplicity in concept and very versatile in use. Simple run one end of the strap through the buckle and overlap it on itself. With a 2" overlap I found it extremely secure. I tried to pull the lap apart. It resisted beyond my ability to cause the velcro to separate. I often load lumber on the rooftop carriers of my Subaru Outback. Long hardwood boards tend to "flap" at highway speeds. Straps using this strapping will hold the boards tightly together. I have some nylon straps with metal ratchets that I have used to this point. I always worry that the metal ratchet might hit the paint or break the windshield. That worry will never come to fruition with these straps. I will be using 3" overlaps to secure the ends of the boards together. I never know how wide the individual boards will be (from 2" to 12") With these straps they can be cut to handle the loads I will be carrying and there will be no flapping ends to worry about. As I sit here writing this review the possible uses of this strapping appear to be endless. Rain is always a consideration and water seems to have no effect on the overlapping. The Best Velcro Adjustable Fastening Cable Straps to use, it is very easy to use, and I like that you can make them as long or short as you want. Surprisingly useful and versatile straps. The material is lightweight but still feels durable, and being able to cut them to any length makes organizing cables and gear much easier. The hook-and-loop holds well for most uses, and the included metal buckles add extra security when needed. Really liked this cinch strap. I've used it to compress a foam mattress and it held really well. Others I purchased had the plastic buckles and would break, these are metal and hold well. Definitely worth it. I followed the instructions (1.5" overlap for the buckle) and it is sufficient to pull it very tight without the buckle loosening. Read more
