Update: we figured out the problem. There is a small clear rubber gasket (looks like a small rubber band) around the bottom of the stopper. It had come off and fallen in the sink. We found it, put it back on, and everything works perfectly. Just be careful that it’s on before replacing the stopper. The folding works well. The size is good. It has been useful and practical so far. We got it to do baby dishes (bottles and pump parts etc. ) and it was the perfect thing for that. Unfortunately after about a month of being used once daily the stopper no longer works. Water pours out even when well closed ( like clicked in place and all, we super double checked). I hesitatingly spent the money on this dish basin after I lost my dollar store wash bins which I use for washing yarn and knit projects. I'm pleasantly surprised to report that this was money well spent. First off, the basin collapses, so it becomes much easier to store, which is a bonus for people who live in small houses, like me! Second, it was so nice to have a drain in the bottom of the basin!
