This is a cute little chart and a great starter tool if you’re trying to introduce chores and routines to your kids. The concept is simple, but it works really well. Each task has a slider that kids can move once they complete it, which makes it feel a bit like a game for them. Since using this, it has honestly done wonders in our house. Our kids actually enjoy checking things off and feeling like they’ve completed their morning routine. What surprised me the most is that they even remind us sometimes. I’ve heard “Hey dad, I forgot to do my night chore chart” more than once, which was definitely not something I expected when we first got it. I bought these for my daughter who struggles to focus and go to the next step. These are easy to place stickers or write on. She’s 5 and gets excited to use it everyday and it has helped us a lot with the morning/night routine meltdowns. Highly recommend and would buy again! Read more
I got both the morning and nighttime boards for my kids. Overall I think they are nice, the stickers were a little hard to get into the slots. But it does come with a lot of different options and also ones that are blank to make your own “chores”. Putting one magnet on the board is not strong enough to stick. I’ve only been using it less than a week but it has already helped significantly in reminding me to take my medication and brush my teeth every night. There are probably other solutions as well but I thought this would be a fun way to remind myself and so far it’s is working flawlessly. I have mine on the wall next to my bedroom door as a before bed checklist, so I can’t speak to the included magnet quality. I love that they included a little clean/dirty magnet for the dishwasher! This is a great buy! Came with a free magnet for the dishwasher too! Toddler loves it and it is so easy to put together. You can personalize it with tasks and it comes with a dry erase marker with a magnet as well on this. Awesome design. Read more
These are very cute and easy to use. We bought them specifically to help our son with ADHD to give him an incentive for getting ready. From the first use we noticed a difference in the amount of time it takes him to get ready. The only negative thing I have to say is it didn’t come with the magnets to go on the back like advertised. I have searched for months to find the perfect checklist for my two girls (ages five and seven). I’ve tried printed checklists and I’ve tried dry erase boards and nothing kept them compliant with it. I finally gave in and decided to purchase this item and I am blown away by how fantastic it is. My girls love being able to switch from “not done” to “done” and they loved getting to choose what went on the checklist. Above that, I love that they have pictures with the words so that my five-year-old, who is learning to read, can still understand what is expected of her. Other checklists only had blank paper and no photos on them. On top of how pleased I was with these items, they also included a thank you note and a super cool dishwasher magnet to show if dishes were clean or dirty. That was just the icing on the cake. For this price, I truly do not think you can find a better chore/checklist for kids. This is an excellent way to teach kid responsibility! We started out with very simple tasks such as getting dressed, brushing teeth, etc. were able to build in harder chores as they became developmentally relevant. There are small cards that slide into the back of the chart, allowing you to customize the different responsibilities. The board is earth to write on and can be easily wiped clean.
