After having surgery and being on blood thinners shaving with a blade is just too risky. 🩸 🏥 👩⚕️ I’ve tried a few different options and this one is a winner in my opinion. Is this blade close? Absolutely not. It’s still pretty darn good. Think first day stubble. However, after using this and applying some lotion, it’s a pretty good shave. Things that I really enjoyed about this shaver. -There is a display telling you how much time you have left on your battery charge -it catches the hair. So no mess or leaving your DNA everywhere. You can literally use this pretty much anywhere and not cause annoyance to someone else in the room. I mean, please don’t shave your legs on a bus or plane or anything. -tells you when you need to clean it. -cleaning it out is not really a hassle. -It’s relatively quiet, you don’t sound like you are using a chainsaw to cut down trees. The only real complaint that I have is that they have placed the power button where your thumb will naturally rest. So you will grab it and turn it off accidentally as you’re trying to use it. Lil annoying but not a deal breaker. It also only shows you a diagram on how to clean it so you kinda gotta figure it out. And it tells you to apply the oil but it doesn’t really tell you how so if you don’t have experience with that again, you just have to wing it also not a dealbreaker, that’s why we have Google right? I found that working in little circles in both directions worked best. You can get around all the crevices on your ankle and glide right over your knees with no worries. You can grab the peach fuzz off the top of your feet and off of your arms. It does get quite close and it does not cause any irritation to your skin. You can use it every day if you want. For the price point, I really just don’t think that you can beat this razor. I have very expensive shavers that do a crappy job. I am very pleased with this purchase, and I would tell anyone to get it. I don’t think you would be disappointed in purchasing. I have the type of white skin that has a red undertone. Very Irish. My hair on my legs is pretty coarse and black. This shaver really did a fantastic job. Quick update 7.11.25 Still going strong! Holds a charge well. Still does a fantastic job. Over a year later, sadly, we all know how rechargeable electronics go however, this one is still holding up beautifully. That’s all friends. Read more
I was so surprised by this shaver! I have super thick, coarse hair combined with ridiculously sensitive skin and no matter what hair removal technique I’ve tried, I get terrible ingrown hairs and irritation. A few weeks ago I purchased another electric shaver to try (one of those TikTok made me buy it, combo clippers shaver things) and was pretty impressed, but found the small one-head rotary razor gave me the closest shave. However it took approximately 42 hours (may be a slight exaggeration) to shave my entire leg/bikini area with that tiny shaver! So I went on the hunt for a multi-head rotary wet/dry shaver and found this one. I was super skeptical because of its weird shape, but let me tell you IT WORKS SO WELL!! The weird head is super flexible and easily gets my weird bony spots like knees and ankles. You barely have to use any pressure (unlike the previous shaver I bought) so there’s no irritation, and it’s really lightweight and fits my tiny hands very comfortably . I have found that moving it in small circles works best. I have used it wet and dry, so convenient! Dry gives me a very close but not totally waxed-smooth shave, but wet does just as well as a traditional razor shave without the bumps! I have noticed it works better on my thick, Eastern European coarse leg hairs the best, but my finer hairs take a little more pressure/passes, so this is probably best to use if you’re pelted like animal like me, not if you have nice baby fine body hair. I haven’t used it in my bikini area yet, and I might stick to the smaller one-head rotary shaver for that bc I think this one may be too large to get, you know, THE DOWNSTAIRS. But I’ve also noticed that, although I have to use it more frequently than a razor to keep my legs smooth (honestly, I get a 5 o’clock shadow so I have to shave every day if I want them to be smooth), the hair grows back softer and finer than with a razor. Also very easy to clean, charges quickly, and tells you how much battery life is left before it needs charged, v handy feature! 5/5, would recommend to my similarly hairy sisters. Read more
This thing is lovely. Makes my skin super smooth very easily, without worrying too much about the direction of the shave. But I have ran into red spots on my legs after my hair grows back in, and my armpits are in hell after using this on them. Maybe my skin just doesn't like this type of razor, or maybe it's not friendly towards sensitive skin. I would love to use it more, but I really don't like the pain. And the alternative straight razor that comes packaged with it just doesn't do the same job, it barely even trims the hair. The battery life is also annoying, I had to do my first shave with multiple charging breaks. If the battery life was 120 minutes instead of 90 it would've been much better. I did try to hurry up my second time, but it's such a weird decision to put it on the user to rush, and potentially miss spots because of it. Read more
