Worked great until it didn't. For about 8 months, this product worked flawlessly. Good sound and the charging works. Then I took the adapter on a trip and I rolled it to fit in a circular headphone case. Since then, it stopped working properly. Now, trying different headphones, the sound sometimes works and sometimes stops. There's static. And now, the sound moves up and down and podcasts keep restarting on their own. It's probably my user error in bending it that broke it. But buyer beware to take care of it. Read more

If you like to use wired headphones this is a good adapter and works fine, but sound is definitely diminished and if you are in any area with bad or sketchy reception I think you will have a hard time with clarity. They work fine for my purpose, which is sitting in my office. so I can be wirelessly connected to my desktop and still able to answer calls privately with the wired ear buds. The other piece is so you can charge your phone even with the ear buds plugged in and that seems to work just fine, maybe a little slower than if you just plugged directly into the phone but not a huge difference. This device works exactly as described. It works perfectly with my Samsung A53 phone and charges at the maximum rate the device will allow. I've not detected any noise issues at all. I will say this, the quality control from the manufacturer is spot on. Plugging in my headphones and Anker USB-C cables requires a bit of effort as the plugs on this device are rather tight and not sloppy like some adapters have been with me before. The headset and the phone charger can be plugged in at the same time making it easier to answer calls since I don't have to fumble with plugging in the headset. I do have to unplug the charging cord while on the phone because it seems to interfere with the headset, but that's easy enough to do. Read more

The one that I used for 2 years finally completely stopped working for the headphone. It still charges via the UsbC connector. About 1 month ago it was starting to work intermittently and occasionally the headphones would disconnect and sound would come out of the phone speakers even though the headphone was connected.
