Need wifi only for initial set-up, then work fine. I live in the mountains so I do not have wifi or cell service when driving to "town". When I first tried these I was on my way to town and was not connected to wifi. They did not work; they just pushed the audio to "speaker phone". I went to Amazon page and asked Rufus (AI bot) if I needed wifi for the earbuds to work. Here is what I got, " Do these need an internet connection to work? If you are looking for a good value for the price, you won’t find it here. These earbuds beep twice in your ear LOUDLY every single time you plug them into your iPhone. Then, instead of continuing to play your music in the earbuds after plugging them in, it forces you to unlock and click “connect to Beats” on your phone, then wait several seconds for them to connect. What else is there to connect with corded earbuds, they are already plugged in, that’s supposed to be the whole point! Then if you unplug the earbuds, your phone will just continue playing whatever you had on instead of pausing it, which you certainly don’t want happening in public by accident. The quality of them feels noticeably cheap compared to Apple earbuds, and they are hardly compatible with the only product they are supposed to connect to (Apple products). They function poorly, they hurt your ears with intrusive beeping, and overall are more complicated than they should be. Read more

Absolutely love these, pretty cheap build quality and honestly I've trashed a good couple of the cords... (may or may not have yanked one out of the wall and straight into the cieling fan whille playing VR). While they may not be the highest quality, these things are amazing and cheap. They quick charge my PIXEL 6A and work amazing for wanting to stay charged while playing on my Quest 3. They're also super nice for travel due to how thin the 10ft cords are (as opposed to those thick braided cables). Sometimes I find myself using the cables for connecting my controller to my PC as well. And forget about the worry of having to charge your phone in the corner of the motel room away from your bed, these 10 foot cables have you covered. Read more

My phone thinks these are beats, so there is a weird pop up to get them to connect. Sound quality is good, but one pair lost sound in one side after the first week. Also, they do not work with my splitter that I use to charge my phone and listen at the same time. But they were fairly inexpensive and I’m still happy with the one that still works fully. Read more
