Quality kit
This kit had everything needed for replacing the HDMI connector on a PS5. The security-torx bit is hardened steel - not cheap chrome-plated cast metal. The screwdriver is chrome-plated metal, but there are 2 of them incase one strips out. The plastic prying tools and "guitar picks" are necessary in the disassembly process. Note that this repair is NOT trivial! There is a lot of copper surrounding the HDMI connector and several SMD components. It takes a lot of heat to remove the connector. If you don't really know what you're doing, or if you don't have exceptional soldering skills, have someone else do it! Also, the APU uses liquid metal for the thermal compound. It's nasty stuff and if it leaks or splashes onto the PCB it could damage the unit. Be very careful and take it slow. When prying the metal plates off the PCB, do it slow and iteratively. Don't "pop" them off with one tool. Good luck! Read more
