They dry fast, fold up to a small flat square, taking up only a little space in my beach bag. This towel is reversable although the underside is a rather boring, gray zigzag pattern. This is a pretty decent towel, especially for travel, with a few things to keep in mind. It's excellent for lounging on the sand and remarkably easy to clean. Plus, it packs down incredibly small, taking up virtually no space, which is a huge bonus. While it's not the best for drying off due to its thinness and limited absorbency, the two-pack provided enough coverage for two people. I got this LxjNkers Microfiber Beach Towel Set with an eye towards upcoming beach trips, but it first saw action in an unexpected emergency: when my refrigerator died and the ice melted, this towel did an incredible job soaking up a massive amount of water from my floor! When traveling to the beach or some vacation spot, it's always handy to take a beach towel. But let's face it, beach towels are bulky and can take up precious space, especially if you are flying somewhere and trying to limit your luggage (airlines are charging more and more for luggage these days). This travel towel is a great option because it's large like you'd expect from a beach towel but because of the material, when stored, it probably takes up less than half the space of a typical beach towel. (see photo for size comparison of this towel compared to a typical beach towel) The material is lightweight and it dries quickly - unlike the typical terry cloth beach towel material.
