I have 3 of these Meidase cameras now 2 P60 and 1 P70. One is on it's 3rd year. One is on 2nd year and the P70 Just bought. I don't know what the difference is between the P60 and P70. They both seem to have the same features. The manual is easy to understand. You have to reset the calendar and time after changing batteries which is inconvenient. All other setting are retained. Picture quality is good even at lowest setting. Battery life is good with pictures. video tends to shorten it some. IR and video can pull the batteries down faster than pictures. Wind is a problem especially at night with video this can drain batteries. That's not the camera's fault. I am currently using all three cameras on pictures 24 hours, even with wind and IR flash I am going on 3 weeks with same batteries. With the wind where they are set I am averaging 1000 hits per 24 hrs. I can't really complain about battery life. Overall they have been good cameras and well worth the price. Read more

We have a few foxes with mange living near the house. We are currently working with a vet to help them out. I bought the camera to monitor a feeding station to be sure the foxes are eating the medication when we leave it. Overall, for the money, the camera is doing the job well. First off, I tried using rechargeable batteries to power the camera and they work, but they don't work. They seem to occasionally get videos. The company recommends Energizer Lithium batteries and after purchasing them and using those the results are way better. Just buy and use those. I found setting up the camera the first time pretty easy. I never had one before. The instructions were fine. Just remember to format the SD card via the menu option in the settings the first time you set it up. One of the draws of the camera is the reported resolution that it records in. On the face of it, the resolution of the actual videos looks pretty good. However, I have noticed something interesting where it seems as if the subject of the video (usually the fox moving) looks blurry and pixelated while the surrounding image looks pretty sharp. It even looked blurry-ish when it stopped 5 feet from the camera and then turned around and ran back. Even at that slight pause for a half a second, the definition of his fur was hard to see since it was not clear. This is what we are trying to actually monitor. The mange going away. This was a daytime video. The nighttime videos are fine and where we have the camera set up it is not ideal. So I am not going to fault the camera for it. I will say that it can look plenty good if setup correctly because my earlier nighttime videos looked clear enough. With that said, I am overall very happy with the camera for the money we spent. With memory cards being so cheap lately, you can get a lot of storage for very a good price. All in cost is very reasonable to get up and running with a pretty good and easy to use trail camera. This camera is fantastic. I have 3 of them and I'm going to buy another. Crystal clear, easy to use and a very good price, even without the discount. Just walk intio any store that sells trail cams and you'll see that even some of the more expensive cameras don't even offer the mega pixel specs. Granted that there's more to cams than mega pixels but this cam rocks! Don't even bother with the rertail stores. By the way, this is the same cam as the Gardepro ES5.
