These are nice. They blend in well and are pretty flush against the wall, taking up only one side of an outlet. The three levels of light is great - I got the amber which is neutral and not harsh in the dark. Read more

I much prefer red lighting for night for all those reasons you already know. These do provide the red light (hallways, stairs, bathrooms, etc.) for night and have dusk to dawn feature which is pretty much a given these days. A bit of a downer is that these red lights differ from another vendor's white counterparts in that 'dimmable' to this vendor is a switch with like a Low-Medium-High setting. Versus always on Low until movement then they gradually over a few seconds move to High setting with even the center section glowing, then returning to Low once movement is no longer detected. These are definitely solid night lights that do everything the vendor claims and work well, however, I cannot wait for the other vendor (used in a large chain hotel I stayed in recently) to provide red in addition to white as I will replace these toot sweet.
