I originally bought 1 set to temporarily protect my expensive memory foam topper & matress while my pup was healing from spay surgery. I figured for the price it could be a disposable item; however, the quality was better than my other "high end" matress protector. This protector is soft, noiseless, doesn't make my bed over heat like my old cover, and offers complete protection. For the price and quality, this is an excellent purchase. The protector holds up and does its job; liquids don't seep through. The dark color is nice, and it's great to have a backup for times when you have to wash the first one. The protector washes well and comes out of the dryer as good as new. So I got this because my girl dog has become terrified of storms when im not home and twice she got so scared she urinated in my bed. My room is her safe place so I didn't want to keep her out of it so I decided to try these. No lie, I doubted these, I thought they be plastic feeling and sounding and thought I'd return them. They do not make noise and are not uncomfortable to sleep on! Since getting them ofc the weather hasn't been that bad. I do feel they would do the trick! When its going to storm I remove top bedding and put in closet and then lay her blanket on top. Oh, another reason I like these are they are fitted so they stay on! I had a blanket i was throwing on top that was waterproof but when scared she would just ball it up and it'd be useless, these are fitted and stat put!
