These joggers are so comfortable, I may never leave home again! I am loving these baggy sweatpants. As a thick girl with big legs and backside, nothing ever fits me baggy. I was a 2x based on measurements, but sized up anyhow because the afore mentioned that nothing fits me baggy. Well, you can order true to size or even size down if your legs are thinner. I put these on and thought I might have received men's size instead because they are definitely baggy. They are very soft and comfortable. The waist is a little high on me, but that's because I am only 5'2". I don't usually like elastic on the bottom because I feel like it makes me look like sausage legs, but with the bagginess, that doesn't happen. It also keeps them from being too long for me. Well they certainly are baggy! the XL upper leg was over 24" wide. The waistband is rather thick (2 inches) and somewhat stiff. They are high-waisted, which means i had to roll the band over at the waist so they wouldn't droop way down (but i have to do that with most pants unless they are mid-rise or low-rise). I'm 5'3", but fortunately the cuffs keep the pant cuffs from dragging on the floor, although it makes them look a bit like those paratrooper pants i think... I didn't take off a star for the fit, because the product description clearly promotes the baggy styling. On the plus side, they wash very well, and have pockets (so nice!) and a drawstring in case you need to tighten up the waist - although the waist band is pretty small, especially when compared to the bagginess of the pants. I am 5’5, and these do barely come to my ankles when standing, but when sitting they do go up a couple more inches than that. Which honestly makes me feel like I am wearing high waters a little. I am 330lbs and typically wear size 26 in jeans. The sizing chart is pretty accurate- I was in between the 3X and the 4X (43 inch waist, 59 in hip) and I hoped for the best with the 3X. They fit me well. If I could go back, I probably would have gone with the 4X just for the baggier fit / more comfort. If you tend to run hot, I would probably only use these for colder weather. In the house, I tried wearing them to bed a couple of nights and my legs just got way too hot. However, when I wore these out in the snow(31 degrees out), my legs stayed nice warm! The pockets are deep enough for a phone. The material is soft and fairly thick. I also have washed the black in the washer 4 times so far and they are holding up well, and their color is still nice and rich. The one thing I didn’t care for was the elastic around the ankle.
