Perfect for eliminating the need of a drop cord to simultaneously powering several small items.
I bought this primarily for the ability to keep my phone charged when away from a power source, given the number of Dewalt batteries I have. I didn't realize that I could power other standard devices, have a light source and the numerous other options including wire type compatibility that it offers. I've used it numerous times now, accomplishing several tasks at once (charging my phone, running a small fan and providing sufficient light) without pulling drop cords and having to find a power strip or adapter to plug each thing into.
