I added a bell to the tails and my blind kitty absolutely loves hearing it move around randomly. You can set it to be activated by touch (loud sounds even turn it on) or have it turn off automatically after 5 minutes. The charge lasts quite a bit with easy use. Has 2 speeds too, crazy for the kittens and calm-ish for older cats. The quality of the motor is pretty good, The way the tails attach sometimes hinder its mobility, and they're plastic and kinda hard to exchange.. I opted using a metal clasped toy with a bell and it seems to help keep it from getting kinked. Easy to clean if hair or fur gets trapped in the motor, the outside pops on and off to untangle any fuzzy messes. The ball has a rubbery exterior for good grippage over carpet and most rugs and all bare floors, maximizing any chase instigations Read more

Terrible design! It is called a dog ball, but our dog, who is not a chewer, is very disappointed that it doesn't roll around now and keeps coming off the plastic outer ring. It doesn't hold a charge well. He just got it on Christmas day and it doesn't work already. Even though we got a 2-pack, it was very expensive for something that doesn't hold up. Read more

I have two German shepherds and they absolutely go crazy. My boy is scared to pick it up because it shakes so he digs his head into it which makes no sense. Very good toy even for big dogs. I bought more than one just to have more than one going at a time and it’s hilarious and makes me and my daughter and my husband laugh so it’s worth it. Read more

I bought this for my dog and she absolutely loves it. She chases it until it powers down and won’t leave it alone. It’s easy to recharge and gives her a lot of exercise. The only reason I didn’t give it a full 5 stars was the string broke too easily. Needs some improvement there but I’m still ordering another for backup! Read more

I was so excited to get this for my young cat and boy, it did not disappoint; she loved it!! She chased it while it bounced around the kitchen and dining room, and gave the older cats a nice reprieve from her harassment! This is a great toy for an animal with lots of energy that likes to chase or track things! Big con was that after about a month, it would no longer hold a charge, rendering it useless. Totally bummed, although fun while it lasted - don’t think I will be buying it again. Read more

The media could not be loaded. Bought a similar but different one meant for cats. The dog loved it but he kept popping it apart, the pieces just all snap together. Tried this one on a recommendation of a friend. Holds up a lot better, every once in a while he accidentally turns it off. But otherwise is standing up to the small dog. First pair only one would charge. They quickly sent two more. Just have to return the other ones in 30 days. No return or postage cost charge. Both of the new ones work and seem to run a lot longer, like 30 minutes constantly on. Button works different than the first one too, but does have the three settings. Fast, slow and interactive. There are obviously different manufacturers and versions of these. I like these that don't turn off after 5 minutes, helps you find them on the rare occasion they get stuck. But most times even when jammed under a piece of furniture it works its way out. Dog goes nuts when it goes where he can't reach it. It shakes and teases him, then suddenly darts out. A working one is worth every bit of $10.00. Read more

The blue one doesn't want to roll and the clips for the toys easily break. Colors are nice and vibrant and the cat seems to enjoy the orange ball..the orange ball also stays stuck in fast mode which seems to drain the battery quicker. For the price I was hoping to have better quality vs entertainment time. Read more

I really wanted to like this but there are some issues. The worst one is that pet hair gets wrapped around the wheels and you have to frequently take it apart to clean. The other issue is that you have to watch it constantly. It seems good at getting trapped in places and just use up all it's battery power and gets lost with all the other cat toys in a dark corner. I have one cat that is pretty interested in it. The other one waits for it to die and then carries it around the house by the tail. The dog isn't sure what to make of it. Sadly it's probably best in a room with a smooth floor and no place to get trapped. It also has no clue about stairs. I've saved it a few times, but I suspect it wouldn't survive a trip down.
