These kinda surprised me. I was expecting traditional "thermal" material that is hard to describe, but I've known as thermal all my life. Like cotton with many sewed "pockets" of less than few cm. As I noted, I've known the other material as thermal for almost 50 years, but never had to describe it because everyone knows what thermal looks like. Getting these, I had to re-read the ad and packaging. It is smooth stretchy material that is skin tight. It took some getting used to, as the thermal i was expecting (and thought i ordered) is comfy with-out being form fitting. However, once i got used to these, i tested it outside. I think it does well. Its been cold in the Midwest, but no snow yet but i believe the top/bottom set is working as advertised. Read more
