cooling tape
This tape takes a second to get used to. When you first open the pack, it looks and feels damp, which threw me off at first. But that’s just the menthol, and it’s what gives the tape its cooling effect. Once it’s wrapped on, it doesn’t feel wet at all, even on more sensitive skin. I used it on my foot, and the cooling sensation kicked in quickly. It’s not freezing cold, but more of a steady chill that helps take the edge off. I ended up reusing the same strip after a shower, and it still held up okay, though the menthol does fade after a while. At that point, it’s basically just a stretchy wrap, but still useful.
