As others have mentioned, these things are tight! But if you work the elastic cord around the rungs of your vent tubing eventually you'll get there. It's not easy to put on but as you can see with my final pictures it is doable. This is on a 6" intake tube. I like them. Did not fit the standard galvanized 8” duct. They maybe ok for the expandable duct but I hard ducted my room. Otherwise nice filters. I will just have to slit the stitching to make them work, hopfully. Read more

A complete waste of my money, the actual, measured circumference is a little _less_ than 8 in, which makes it completely impossible to stretch over an 8 in Flex tube without the cheap seam sewing ripping. Should have should have searched the reviews in the most recent selection, rather than the most relevant because it's obvious I'm not the only one who has had this problem . The vent covers look nice - but I ordered a 6” version and it was extremely tight and difficult to slip onto the 6” duct opening. I was able to squeeze it on after a good deal of gently squeezing the ducts and pulling the edges of the cover over it. But was not easy to install. Read more
