This shoe rack is very easy to adjust. Since it is expandable and stackable, it fits perfectly into my closet space. The metal material feels sturdy and keeps shoes well organized without taking up too much room. A simple and great solution! 👟✨ Read more

I like it overall. Just plain better than the ones with the bars. The shoes stay where you put them and don't fall through. The biggest con is when it is at its widest it sags a bit in the middle. You can see it the picture. Plus that is with kid shoes on it and no work boots. Otherwise the adjustable feet are nice to have and the build quality is decent for the price. Except when fully extended.... so definitely 4 stars. Oh and i also think it looks good too. Definitely better than that three bar style. Worth the price unless you plan to have it at it's widest at all times. Read more

I really like this shoe organizer. It’s simple, functional, and took only a few minutes to put together. There’s nothing complicated about the assembly, which I always appreciate with products like this. One of the nice features is how adjustable it is. The height can be changed using two different hole positions so you can adjust the spacing between the top and bottom shelves depending on the types of shoes you’re storing. It’s also expandable in width, which makes it easy to fit into either a narrow closet or stretch it out if you have a little more space available. The build quality is solid for what it is. It’s made of metal and feels sturdy enough to hold several pairs of shoes without any issues. It’s not overly refined or fancy, but it does exactly what it’s supposed to do and does it well. The only reason I’m giving it four stars instead of five is because of the adjustment holes. When you change the shelf height, the unused holes remain visible, which is a small cosmetic thing but still noticeable. Overall though, it’s a very practical shoe rack that’s easy to assemble, adjustable, and does the job well. Summary: I recommend this shoe rack if it looks good to you. The quality and design do not disappoint. Assembly is quick especially if you read my Part b below. Assembly: There are only 5 types of parts, plus the included hex key: 1. The end pieces, 2 per tier 2. The mesh shelves, 1 per tier 3. Hex screws, one extra included in the kit I received 4. Screw-in stoppers to control the width of the adjustable shelves, 2 per shelf, no tools required 5. Screw-in leveling feet, 4 for the total kit, no tools required. The instructions are just a set of diagrams. It's mostly easy to follow but leaves out some crucial details: a. Pay close attention to which way is up on the metal mesh shelves. You want to keep all the sliding action on the bottom of the shelf so you have a smooth top for your shoes. >>!!!>> b. Each of the end pieces, Part 1 up there ^, has a side with 2 gold thread inserts in 2 holes. That's the bottom of that end piece. Make sure you keep the gold on the bottom and you should be fine with the rest of the instructions. c. Don't fully tighten all the hex screws until you're done with everything. I assembled our 2-tier rack by myself, I'm a petite female. It did not require a lot of strength and it didn't take long, maybe half an hour but that's due to I did end up having to undo and redo some of my work because of instructions Part b up there ^. It would've taken maybe 10 or 15 minutes if I hadn't had to do that. Parts aren't labeled but there are so few it isn't really necessary. They are pictured in the instructions. Some kind of "This Side Up" label on the shelves but especially the end pieces would be very helpful. With that modification, I would score assembly as Moderately Easy, since the hex screws have to be threaded all the way through the pipe-like metal end pieces and that can be a little bit fiddly. During assembly, you have a choice of 2 positions for each shelf. The instructions have you putting them in the lower position. I put ours in the upper instead and it worked fine. That way there's also room for a 3rd tier of shoes on the floor under the shoe rack. This shoe rack is made of sturdy metal in a soft matte black color. You can paint it a different color if you wish. The dimensions are true to those given in the product info and images: you'll need 1 foot clearance for depth, and at least about 19 inches clearance for width. Height for the 2-tier rack is 17 inches. Maximum width of just the shelves part is about 28 inches. The size of this is great, easily fitting up to 4 pairs of shoes on each tier/shelf. The shelves are a fine mesh. I own a few pairs of stiletto heels and all of them fit fine without getting caught in the mesh. You'd have to genuinely be walking on pins and needles for your footwear to get caught in the mesh. I like the 1 foot depth, plenty of room for the largest shoes we had in our house which is men's size 12. The shoe rack is easy to use and makes shoes easy to access. It looks nice enough to keep in the front entryway, doesn't have to be relegated to a closet. I think it is well worth it for the price. The metal material is sturdy, the mesh shelves lie flat, instead of the style of 2 staggered/angled bars which hold shoes pointed downwards. I frequently end up with shoes falling off the back of that kind of rack when I place them on it. I like this design much better, it's worth the price to skip the frustration. Read more

A shoe rack isn't something that one waxes poetic about, but in this case, the rack in question is worth some deserved praise. What attracted me to this rack was that it can expand or contract to fit the oddest of places, and I had a particularly odd spot in our downstairs mudroom. It isn't a closet, but a space between our front porch foundation wall and the garage wall. The space cries out for a shoe rack (really!) butI could never find the right size. Too wide = won't fit. Too narrow = wasted space. So when this rack arrived, I wasted little time in assembling it. Was it easy to assemble? Meh. The direction sheet has small pictures that are semi-explanatory, not close to IKEA quality, but the actual assembly isn't too hard. Just make sure you orient the side pieces the same way and check that the shelves both face up. Once screwed together, the shelf is very sturdy. Expand it to the size you need, tighten the four locking nuts and bingo! Note that the four feet can be adjusted in case of floor unevenness. My floor was good, so the rack was stable from the get-go. Is it fine furniture? Nope. Is it a solid and functional shoe rack? Absolutely! Read more
