I picked up this sink caddy organizer to match the dish drying rack I’d gotten previously. It arrived quickly, and I was impressed with the solid build and quality construction. Assembly was quick, and I appreciated the thoughtful design. The caddy is multi-level, offering storage for multiple sponges, kitchen dish soap, drain plugs, and even a scrubber. It also includes a drainage plate similar to the one in my dish rack. Overall, I like the design, but there are a couple of drawbacks worth mentioning. My biggest issue is with the drain plate—it doesn’t snap in and just barely fits, making it feel insecure. If the organizer tips over or you move it quickly, it detaches almost immediately. A simple fix would be to make it slightly longer or add clips so it snaps into place as one solid unit. I recommend keeping it in a fixed spot to avoid movement and prevent it from sliding out. Some may find the bottom shelf less useful since it sits low to the drip plate. While this hasn’t been an issue for me, I wouldn’t recommend stacking it too full, as the top rack drains onto the bottom before reaching the drip tray. I use the bottom rack for my steel wool and metal scrubber for cast iron pans, but its use is flexible. The top shelf has enough space for most cleaning essentials like sponges, brushes, and dish soap. It comes with a divider so you can store sponges upright for more open space. If you use Scrub Daddy sponges like I do, they won’t lay flat and will need to be stored standing lengthwise to fit. The included cup can snap to either the inside or the outside of the rack for added convenience. Some people have mentioned that the cup on this rack doesn’t sit evenly, but I haven’t had that issue. I made small adjustments to the clip on the back by bending it out slightly, allowing the cup to attach to both the front and back of the caddy. Without this tweak, it only attaches to the sides. Modifications are optional, but I’ve found this one useful and it adds to the product’s functionality. The drain spout rotates freely, and the drain plate can be inserted in either direction, giving plenty of flexibility for where the water drains—whether out the nearest side, the front, or the back. The black finish is simple and matches other kitchen organizers nicely. While most of the product is metal, the drain plate is made of flimsy plastic. Still, it works well and drains efficiently. Overall, I highly recommend this product for households like mine, where it often feels like you’re the only one doing dishes and the sink becomes a catch-all for dirty ones. Before this caddy, sponges, brushes, and cloths would get lost at the bottom of the pile, making it hard to start cleaning. This sink caddy has done some wonderful things for our sink organization. The back of our sink is uneven due to a window leak, so it's a bit difficult to store our tools without them falling over, and any amount of moisture worsens the situation. This caddy provides a level surface with rails to keep everything where it needs to be, and the drain ensures any moisture on our sponge or our hands as we reach for things makes it back into the sink. The tall height of the upper shelf also keeps everything in reach above even the largest of our dishes. My main complaint is with the drain plate. It doesn't snap in or anything and just barely fits, so it's very insecure. If you need to move the caddy around at all, that bottom section falls right off. It's fine for our use case -- where it has one set location it lives in -- but that might not be the case for you. The bottom shelf is also not really usable, because the path needs to be clear for water to drip down from the top into the drain plate. I was expecting to be able to store a bit more in this than I realistically can. However, the top shelf has enough space for most kitchen sink activities. I can fit my sponge, my brushes, my dish soap, and my hand soap. I ended up using the cup for my brushes, and I moved the adjustable divider next to it, to create a gap just big enough to keep the sponge upright. You could also clip the cup off to the side where it doesn't drip into the tray, which would be fine for things that are kept mostly dry, like your dish cloth or gloves. The cup doesn't sit square because the gap is so narrow, which is a little bit irritating, but I stopped noticing it after a while. You also can't attach the cup to the front or back, because the gap isn't large enough to get it over the extra bit of metal on those sides. It can attach only to the sides. The drain spout rotates freely, and the drain plate can be inserted in either direction, which gives you a lot of freedom regarding where the spout is draining to. It can drain out the side it is closest to, or it can drain out the front or back. The black look is simple and matches other organizers in our kitchen. Although the bulk of the product is metal, the drain plate is a flimsy plastic. It gets the job done and drains excellently nonetheless. I wish a couple more dividers were included. Overall, I would recommend this product to anyone who is having trouble keeping things around their sink organized and dry. Everyone in the house adapted to this device pretty quickly, and it has become a staple of our dish washing process. Read more
Wonderful addition to any kitchen! There really is no assembly to this, you just put the drainage tray in below and turn the spout so it drains out over the sink. I absolutely love the way these organizers make your kitchen look besides the help they give you in keeping things organized and clean. It fits perfectly on either side of the sink and is definitely sturdy enough not to slide around or tip over. The paint is baked I'm in such a way that you should have no problem with any rust. Not only does this caddy look great sitting on my sink, but it holds a lot of products as well making it extremely useful!
