This is a rugged, waterproof power bank that’s perfect for emergencies or camping. The six light settings (daylight and warm) and the red signal light are incredibly versatile. I was impressed that it arrived fully charged; a month later, it’s still going strong. The status screen is a helpful touch, and the various mounting accessories (D-ring and loop) make it easy to hang. Just ensure it's secure, as it has some weight to it! It's compact and high-quality—definitely a great value for the price. Read more

This is sturdy, extremely well-built and, after examining it for 5 minutes, I immediately purchased a second one. The light is an amazing add-on. It now replaces a mini isobutane-powered lantern I would otherwise use that is noisy, and wastes my precious isobutane canisters. Even the carabiner that comes with it is quality. This crushes its main competitor: less expensive and better. Read more

This is a very cool power bank and lantern in one! The power bank has a design that resembles a small water jug, and it feels rugged and durable. The light is extremely bright at its highest setting and offers three color temperatures, as well as a red light and an SOS signal feature. However, my main concern is that the light connects to the base only via a USB plug. For a gadget intended to be waterproof and shockproof, especially for tactical outdoor survival, this seems like a weak point. The light can detach quite easily, requiring only the effort to unplug a USB cable. I nearly broke it when I tried to take it apart, as I instinctively attempted to unscrew it; fortunately, I didn't apply too much force. If the light is attached and something bumps into it or if it falls, I could see the USB plug or port getting damaged. I believe there should be an additional attachment or component to stabilize the light when it is connected to the battery base. Other than that, it is a fantastic light with a large capacity battery. I will use it at home as a work or emergency light, and as a backup power bank. Read more

I'll be honest, when I ordered this, I thought it was just a battery bank. In my line of work, having another battery bank is nice, and this 20Wh bank would be very useful. But then I realized that this is much more than a standard battery bank. It's a camping lantern! And a battery bank. And it's waterproof and shockproof, though I didn't test that. The most wet I get my stuff is just getting rained on while going from a car to a house. And I don't consider any battery truly shock proof. The exterior is a hard plastic that will likely crack if dropped higher than 6 feet on a hard floor surface. Here's a little of my testing. With the lantern connected to the battery, on full power, I was getting about 2 hours of run time and the battery dropped just 5%. So I will assume that this will last at least 30 hours to just run the light. Now, the light isn't terribly bright, but enough for a tent, or a small motorhome, or even a smaller room in a home if the power goes out. I live in Florida and hurricanes almost ALWAYS create power outages for hours or days. The light toggles between cool white, warm white, mixed white, and red. And there are 5 levels of brightness. It might be nice to have twice the brightness. I would estimate that it's about as bright as a 20W light bulb. One more nicety is that the light has a USB-A port on the side, so you can still charge things when it is attached. Otherwise, there is a USB-A (that the light attaches to) and a bi-directional USB-C port at the top, The display shows the total voltage and amps pulled from the battery while charging devices and it appears to top out at 20W charging. (9.2V and 2.1A) The readout also shows remaining charge on the battery. And it appears to charge at 15W from an outlet. Definitely not the fastest battery bank, but slower charging means less heat. The whole thing looks like a mini thermos or water bottle, with screw on metal cap and metal threads on the bank, so nothing will wear out. In all, it's a pretty interesting product that campers should definitely have in their pack somewhere, although they use the term "Fast Charge" in the description liberally. Faster than the 5W charging from 10 years ago, but nowhere near the 65W charging of some battery banks available for a similar price and capacity. But what puts this one ahead of the others is the ruggedness and ability to take a splash or a drop and carry on, and the addition of the plug-in top light could save the day. As a cherry on the top of all of that, it comes in a quite nice zippered, formed case. So you won't lose the light. It also comes with a screw in link and a carabiner for hooking to bags or to hang from things. It also came with a USB-C to USB-A converter. So keep it in your motorhome or your camping pack for when you need some power, or a light, or both. Read more
