Great option for daily cups of single use drip cone. No issues with taste of coffee (I use Peet's coffee grounds ordered from Amazon), ease of use, size, or anything else. Great, and cheaper, option that feels environmentally friendly just based on the nice earth tone. Read more
Purchased for use for my Melitta pour over and they work great. Only been using them for a week, but so far no issues with breaking or tearing. More reasonably priced than buying in store. I will purchase these again. Read more
They fit my new pour over perfectly. They catch all the grinds for easy throw away and better yet no grinds in my coffee. Read more
Works great in coffee filter cone. Lifts out great when filter is dry after coffee is done. May rip if you try to use in differently shaped strainer or lift filter full of grounds when still wet and heavy. Read more
Smells like wood chips or wet cardboard when you add hot water. I recommend running hot water over empty cone to preheat filter and cone, this rinses the filter and preheats the cone and cup for a better temp. I was using cheap filters from Malwart which clogged quickly. This filter however allows the pour to happen more quickly which is giving me a much better pour-over. MMMmmm, coffee. If your pour is not the best, remember all the variables you need to control, Bean choice, ground size, (I like medium fine), water temp, 205° max, brew time (no more than 2 min for total pour), and of course, water to grounds ratio (18:1 is about perfect.) These are great coffee filters. I have been buying these for my pour over brewer for over 2 years now. I go through them surprisingly quickly since I drink 2-3 cups of coffee per day. They are accurately sized to fit in brewers that take #2 filters, and they have a decent flow-rate. I grind my own beans to a medium-coarse setting. These filters have no problem keeping the smaller bits of coffee out of your cup. I used to use a French press, but I never liked that gritty texture from all the microscopic pieces of coffee that get through the steel mesh filter. That simply does not happen with these filters. Finally, these filters cost half as much as the name-brand filters that my local grocery store carries, and they work just as well. I would recommend these to anyone looking to make a great cup of coffee. Read more
