I was really excited for this inverter. It's small, feels well built, and nicely designed. 200W was more than I needed for my uses. However, when I received it, several of the items I wanted to power would not turn on. They work fine on commercial power, but wouldn't even try to power on with this inverter. I checked voltage out, and it was about 115CAC - perfect. Then I checked frequency, and found that this inverter was producing less than 60Hz. I suspect that's the problem. I have a propane generator that also wouldn't power some of stuff until I fine-tuned the regulator to exactly 60Hz. Some electronics are just more sensitive to power frequency than others. Unfortunately I don't think this inverter has any ability to adjust frequency, so back to Amazon it went. Read more
