The placement of the pockets makes your thighs look bigger. Or, that could be just me.
Let me qualify my headline: I deliberately bought a pair of pants that are one size too small, maybe even two sizes. That's because the smaller the size, the shorter the length (and that's just crazy by the way, fat people can't be short and thin people can't be tall?) Since they have a fully elastic waist I figured I could get them to fit, also, I'm losing weight for various reasons. They do "fit" in that I can get them on, sit in them, walk, breathe. However, the placement of the pockets does make my thighs look bigger, BUT, maybe if I was wearing a size L or XL that wouldn't be a problem and the drape would be better over my thighs but I'm not sure of that. They are still too long (I'm 5' 2"). I could wear them as is with my highest heels or I could hem them. Since I want these for summer wear at least 90% of the time I will hem them. The fabric is nice, not too thin. Read more
