This is a fun little dog ball, although be warned that some dogs do not like noisy or light up or self-moving toys. The ball is a little bigger than golf ball size. It opens relatively easy for a human with a little twist of a threaded area around the equator. It isn't a roller type of ball, but instead a bouncy shaky type of movement. It has a vibration motor that is imbalanced and causes seemingly random amounts of force in random directions. So this isn't one that they will chase around the floor, but instead we'll bounce around in a certain area. Because of this, you should probably not use it on tile or flooring that could be damaged from repeated impact. I tried this ball on my face and it felt like the impacts are strong enough to where it would eventually cause bruising after maybe 10 minutes in the same area. This is why I would caution against using it on any floor that can be dented or cracked. Also, if your dog likes to pick these kind of things up in their mouth, they shouldn't do so with this one because again, the random impact force against the ball could damage their teeth. Another major problem is that the motor periodically snags and you hear it just buzzing without any movement. I suspect that this is due to the randomness and chaoticness of the interior design, sometimes getting the weighted part of the motor in such a position that it's hard to get started. Again. Again. This thing doesn't continuously rumble but instead it's varying lengths and intensities of pulses. There is a short pause of maybe one second or less in between each several second long rumble. The light in the ball is really good, and we were disappointed to see that there's only a sliver of a window for it to shine through. When you look inside, the large motor lights up almost entirely on top. Think of a large marshmallow where one of the circular ends is a light, and now you only have a thin scrape, barely thicker than a Blu-ray disc, for the light to be shown through. However, this can be a good sensory toy for somebody who likes vibration or hard fidgeting. It was very pleasant to hold in my hand and play with as it knocked around in my palm with my fingers loosely preventing it from falling. Read more

This 8nteractive balln8s pretty small so, probably best for small breeds and puppies. We have a puppy so the size was good for him for a couple of months. It's quite hard and you can't bounce it yourself. Twist it apart at the center to be able to recharge it. It will vibrate and mostly roll around on its own, it bounces ever so slightly. My issue withnit is, it only works for a littlebless than a minute before you have to turn it on again. My puppy loses interest in it because it keeps turning off Read more

I have a pomeranian and he absolutely hates this thing. The entertainment value seems great at initially but now i can see its jot really there. It is somewhat of a cheap design, even for a dog toy. At first i thought it would be cool that i wouldnt have to do anything And it would just roll around and play with it, nope he is aggressively trying to kill it every time it is on. Instructions are non existent, you dont know when its on, charged/ not charged, or peacefully off. It makes a lot of noise but that doesnt matter now since its not functioning at all. He broke it within a week, there is still a "motor" but that is way too small, he can choke on it. So needless to say it is not very durable. It now lays to rest, in pieces, under the couch. Fun little automatic ball - though my strange cats seem very wary of it. It is very hard, so not great for pets that like to pick things up in their mouth. It does move around a lot, but it also makes a loud noise so that might be some of their apprehension to play with it. It works better on hard floor than carpet. Read more

I got this for my dog so that he could keep himself entertained. It is pretty easy to turn on, you just push the button and it starts to move around on its own, and it has different lengths of time that it will move around. It also has some lights that will flash when it is moving. My dog will play with it and drop it whenever it starts to spin. Ultimately the toy is made out of a cheap plastic, and my dog started to bite through the coding after only 10 minutes of playing with it (see photos) The ball also opened in half and spilled the motor and battery when i threw it for him to go fetch the ball. I would not trust my dog to play with this without supervision. If your dog is a big chewer or likes to eat he is not supposed to then I would definitely stay away from this. Read more

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This ball is great size for small dogs. One of my two pups loves it! He has a hard time picking it up because it's vibrating so rapidly but he eventually manages it. It moves around the house pretty slow compared to a couple of our other interactive balls, it isn't jumping as it claims and doesn't really do much but vibrate across the floor, but he loves it all the same. My other doesn't care for it and prefers the other ones. Read more

It worked okay but it was to small for our dog. It moved faster then I thought and kinda was a bit much for our dog. I feel this would be better for a cat rather then a dog. Read more

Not good for hard floors or tiles due to the banging noise of the toy. Small but big enough not to cause a choking hazard. Fun toy for the dog only if you have carpet because of the noise. Read more
