I have tried other smartwatches and none of them have exactly been Apple Watch killers. This device has a rich feature set that makes it really great for people looking to get better health information. It has a pulse meter similar to other watches in its class but it also measures blood sugar and blood pressure. Not sure how accurate it is but the numbers were sane given what I know of my own medical history. It comes with several cute watch faces, including several that would be hits with children. The dial and tap interface is intuitive and the app was easy to install on my phone. The most unique thing about this watch is that it came with a band capable of fitting my meaty wrist. This is the first of these smartwatches I have tried where I did not need an aftermarket band. Pretty happy so far, this looks like an excellent value device, and I’m giving it five stars. Read more

At this price, I wasn't expecting much. I was really surprised that it was better than expected in several ways: - The screen is really nice and bright - The band is very flexible and comfortable - The weight is less than expected; part of the reason I bought a really cheap smart watch was being afraid I'd not want to wear and expensive one because it's too obtrusive on my wrist. This is really fine - The controls are nice. There's a button that you can press, or rotate with a nice clicky feel. And you can swipe in any direction on the touchscreen - There's a ton of health metrics that are tracked. This seems to be the main focus of the watch. Unfortunately they're not why *I* bought the watch, so I'm afraid I'm not reviewing them here. But it's good to know they've put a lot into this - The battery life is solid. I'm using it more than I normally would because I'm learning how it works, but I'm still getting over 4 days - The access to features is mostly (see one exception below) well thought out. Swipe down for settings and hardware features (phone, screen, light, mute, etc). Swipe up for notifications. Swipe right for oft-used apps (weather, timer, calendar, calculator, find, light, 3 recent apps). Swipe left for phone functions. Press the button for a list of features. - Initiating and answering phone calls works just fine - You can set it up to forward notifications from any app. There is a "but", see below. I was very impressed at first. And if, say, you are mostly using it for the health tracking functions, you may be very happy with this. But here's some things that have disappointed me: - The screen is normally off - that's fine, it saves battery. But tapping the screen doesn't wake it up, you have to press the button on the side that's a bit less convenient. Of course it's supposed to wake up when you "raise" you wrist (as if to look at the watch) but I find this very unreliable. It often comes on when I don't want it to, and often fails to come on when I do want it to - The main screen is a watch face that you can choose (you can download more from the app). That part is fine, and above I mentioned the screens you can get from pressing the button or swiping from an edge. But if you rotate the button, you...rotate through watch faces. There aren't many controls on this thing, and it seems important to make the things you do most often the most accessible. I'm very rarely going to change the watch face. This is a lost opportunity - My main reason for buying this was to get notifications from my phone. I set it up to forward notifications if I get a call, text, or email. This is really neat - when it works. But of course it's limited. While not unexpected, you don't get much text from an SMS, and you don't get images. With email, you only get the subject line. And I often get two notifications per message - one saying I have a message, then another with the subject. I hate to expect too much from a very inexpensive watch, but this isn't doing as much as I'd hoped to allow me to easily and discreetly decide when I need to pick my phone up - The worst thing - to me, anyway - is the connectivity. It connected to my phone easy enough, but it also doesn't appear to have a terribly large range and will disconnect - without telling me. There is no indication on the watch face. You can swipe to the "setting/hardware" screen to see if it's connected, but it's unreasonable to continually do that to know if you are connected or not. So I miss some notifications without being aware of it. That's my primary reason for only giving it three stars. Connectivity to the phone is key (for me; if you want standalone health tracking instead this may not bother you) Read more

I have a bunch of these inexpensive smart watches, and this one from YYKY is a solid entry. It tracks steps accurately. The strap is comfortable on my wrist. I do like that it has standard watch lugs. That makes it easy to change the strap to something more fashionable, or more comfortable (like cloth, leather, etc). I'm a little concerned with its water-resistance. But for the price, I'm willing to take the chance out in the rain, or splashing it when washing my hands or doing the dishes. Read more

For the price point, the capabilities of this watch amaze me. I have a Galaxy watch that I love, but they're pretty expensive. With that in mind, I figured I'd try a non name brand to see how it compared. I'm delighted to say, I was very impressed with the features offered with this watch. Despite the graphics being a little less quality, and the operations a little clunky, the functionality and what it could do seemed to be on par with the name brand watch. I did wear them at the same time to see if stats (steps, heart beats per minute, exercise tracking, etc) were comparable, and SURPRISE there wasn't much variation. Apparently, this watch even takes your blood pressure. Not sure how accurate it was, but that is something the fancy watch doesn't even boast. The battery life was great, definitely surpassed the other watch. Could also make phone calls, and send text messages like a champ. The sleep tracker was fine. It could have used more detail, in my opinion, but still gathered the pertinent info. One thing I was not a fan of, EVERY SINGLE TIME I received a phone call, the Bluetooth on the phone would connect to the watch and when I picked up a call, it would be on the watch. Pain in the butt when I wasn't even wearing the watch. I'm sure there's a way to turn that off, but I haven't looked into it much further. Overall, if you're looking for a price friendly smart watch, or maybe something for your child, this is a great option! I was impressed with it's capabilities. Next time I'm in the market for a new watch, I'd highly consider another one of these. Read more
