I tested this mount with two phone models: a Google Pixel 6 and a Google Pixel 9 pro. The mount itself seems really decently built, except for one specific issue I ran into: tightening the fittings so that the mount didn't allow the phone to sink over time and after driving over bumps. When it arrived, all the collars seemed tight already and yet the mount itself didn't hold a position at all, even with my lighter Pixel 6 on it. I found that I could tighten it more (somehow! It was already incredibly snug) and then it held my Pixel 6 in position without any issues. I then tested with my husband's Pixel 9 pro. Initially, it seemed like it was going to be fine, but after some time going down the road and especially on bumpier roads, the mount allowed the phone to tilt and sag downward. I thought maybe my hands just weren't strong enough to get it snug enough so I then asked my husband to check, and sure enough, both collars/fittings were as tight as possible. For me, it'll work fine. My phone seems to be light enough for this mount and I don't plan on upgrading my phone anytime soon. Now, on to some other features that I want to mention... I like that it's not just a suction cup mount but it also has the sticky material that is washable if it gets dirty and loses its stickiness. That, along with the rotational lock on the suction cup made this mount super easy to install, and it was securely mounted to the window the very first time. I didn't have to fiddle with it at all. I also appreciate how compact this mount is while allowing me to adjust it, though as I mentioned before, I wish the collars were fit better to allow me to actually snug it down better for heavier phones. Finally, the magnetic potion of the mount worked great with my magsafe case and held my phone securely. Since I already had my phone in a case that has the metal ring inside it, I didn't need to use the included cleaning wipes or the metal mount ring that some may need to attach to the back of their cases to use this mount. It is really nice that they include all of that, however. Overall, a decent mount especially if you have a lighter phone. If they improved the fittings or ball end fitment to make it able to handle heavier phones it would easily earn a five star review from me. However, since it works for my lighter phone, but not my husband's slightly heavier one (meaning he will have to use a different mount when he drives my car or not use one at all), I can't give it a full five stars here. Update: after using this mount for several months, it has gotten worse about staying suctioned to anything. This phone mount works good. As long as you have a MagSafe phone or use the ring that comes with it, it holds very well. I have had an issue the suction cup releasing in extreme heat. Overall a good quality product. Read more

I got this with the intention of primarily using it as a phone holder on my desk. I wanted to have the option of using it in a vehicle, but I’ve not used it for this purpose yet. As far as I can tell, the design looks good for that, as you can peel off the plastic from the vacuum/adhesive side that would generally attach to glass, and then it’s an easy quarter turn twist of the base just above the adhesive portion to pull the part with adhesive up in the middle, and that should create a very good seal. BTW, you would do well to save the plastic sheet if you peel it off- it may come in handy later. It appears to have a very strong magnet to hold the phone fast. The dual ball design between the base and the holder provides excellent pivoting ability so you should be able to put this at any reasonable and maybe some unreasonable angles. As far as desktop use goes, it works perfectly for my iPhone 16 Pro Max with protective case. With this, my phone is able to sit at the perfect angle which happens to max out the tilt angle on the phone holder with the base of the holder being flat against my desk. Because of this, smaller phones will likely only work with the base tilted in an angle and the phone at closer to a 90° angle, though it will still hold the phone. for me and my purposes, and I believe for most other people‘s purposes, this holder should do an excellent job of holding the phone, whether in a vehicle or on a desk. This thing is a joke! I have an iPhone 14 Pro. Which this states works for my phone model. The magnet is strong, I’ll give it that! As in trying it sticks to the gadget to where I cannot remove it! However it will not whatsoever hold my phone! I know my phone is magnetic. Plus it’s hard to figure out how to work it. Instructions are not included beside what’s on the box. The ad is deceiving making me think it suctioned onto my car dash. Instead I open a product to find out it’s some sticky substance that is suppose to adhere to where you want to put it. I’m not comfortable with putting this sticky adhesive anywhere in my vehicle or even in my home! I’ll pass! I do not recommend this product! Read more

This is a good mount, especially for the price. It is easy to use, works well & does stay put if you tighten down the arm/threads properly (seen some others complain about it but it's actually their fault...). Fits my iPhone 16 well & holds it securely. I honestly like that the suction cup lock is manual so your not dependent upon the battery of a vacuum powered one to be charged (we have both manual & vacuum powered). One additional thing I like is that the arm between the magnet & the suction cup it more adjustable than some of my other mounts which is very helpful. Read more
