The delivery came with the box damaged a bit from the outside, but very well protected on the inside and did not effect the DVD player. It came with everything needed for a quick set up (see picture), except 2 AA batteries for the remote. The unit works fine and is surprisingly quiet. Nice little unit for the great price. Read more

This is an ultra tiny DVD player it works. It comes with a remote and comes with a manual. It’s very easy to set up. I’ve only hit 1-2 couple of interesting moments, where the cheapness of the quality added unique features to what I was seeing on the screen, but a quick restart, and the problems were solved. I am unsure of how long it will last, but it is nice to have a DVD player that doesn’t break the bank and allows me to watch all my DVD collections. Read more

I have noticed that a lot of the older dvd players have started failing. The lens lasers are starting to weaken causing playback issues along with a decreeasing ability to recognize and play dvds. You can get used DVD players for $10 on facebook marketplace, but I suggest you try to get a new dvd player with a new laser. That gives you the best chance of reading all your old possibly scratched discs. My initial review of this is that it is a very nice dvd player. It has hdmi for newer tvs, but also component out which is what I specifically wanted it for. It has all the settings to display in 4:3 for older CRTs which is what I wanted. The remote is nicely sized and has all the buttons you would want. It is very easy to use this dvd player. It has has had no problems yet reading all the older dvds I've tried to play along with some old burned DVD-R's and DVD+R DL dvds. It reads them quickly without skipping a beat. Overall for $30 I think this is a very fair value for a new 2025 dvd player. If I have any complaints it's that the power cord is kind of short. My only concern is longevity. I see lots of negative reviews about the unit failing in less than a year and then getting no support from Majority. If that happens I'll update my review. But for now it gets 5 stars. Read more

I can't believe you can get a CD player for $30, delivered in a day! Amazon is amazing. And this product is perfect. My CDs are about 10 years old, Rudolf, Grinch. So the quality is excellent. I don't have Blue Ray so I can't comment on that. Read more

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I needed a CD player to play my collection of CDs/CD-r & MP3 discs to replace my Sony player which gave up its ghost after 12 years. Most of today's dedicated CD players are very expensive and a DVD player will also play all types of audio media as well, so I gave this player a try since it was very inexpensive and as a plus, had both HDMI & USB connections and as an added plus, it also plays DVDs from almost anywhere in the world. The sound quality and picture as about as good as it gets and rivals much more expensive players. It worked great for about 4 months and then it lost the ability to recognize DVDs, and MP3 CDs. Then it stopped recognizing CDs too, rendering the player useless. Another very unusual and annoying problem I encountered was that it appears that the DVD player's remote codes are identical to my ROKU TV's remote and so every now and then when I use the ROKU remote the player suddenly turns on and opens the tray. I can't complain though, since the player was so inexpensive, it is no tragic loss. Majority offers a 3 year warranty on this player but there is no warranty station here in the US that I can find who will repair the player. It is several months out of Amazon's return window, so I guess I just have to junk it. As has been often said: you get what you paid for. Read more
