Thus far no complaints. I have a 2023 Lincoln Nautilus with the full dash so finding the correct spot to hang a phone without impeding the dash information is a challenge. I use the farthest driver side spot works best. It isn't necessarily flat so I had to use the included adhesive piece and so far (fingers crossed) it is holding well. After securing it I put the holder on top and turned it to suction lock position and let it set for the night. Then I placed my phone on it when I drive. It is secure and doesn't wobble or bounce and it is easily accessible. I can glance if needed yet still have eyes on the road with the position in my vehicle. Everything is really done through voice prompts on the vehicle but I do find that periodically I will glance at it for no apparent reason. The holder is compact but sits high enough not to interfere with my dash and allows me to use a vertical or horizontal position as chosen. It is sturdy and blends well with my black and metal interior. I have an IPhone 15 and have it in a protective magnetic phone case that holds firmly to this holder. The holder does not impede my ability to charge the phone while it is in the holder. When not in use it easily folds down to take up minimal real estate on the dash and barely shows. This is maybe my 8th holder for my vehicles. Some have not stayed on in the sun and others my husband liked and I offered them to him or the kids and ordered myself a newer version. Even though the car is garaged these holders tend to lose their stickiness and I lose my patience. I am keeping my fingers crossed that this stays put as well as the one I gave to my husband so I won't have to purchase any others. I was using a suction-mounted holder for my phone that has a clamp that ratchets to hold the phone. That one was bulky and did not always stay mounted for more than a week when it would let go and my phone would fall. I use a MagSafe case on my Galaxy S25 Ultra, which is quite heavy, so I thought I would try this case. First, this holder comes with a stick-on metal plate that I put on the side of my dash (which was a smooth plastic, but not as good for suction as the metal plate). Installation was simple, I just stuck this on. It has been holding for over a month and several hundred miles (and some bumps) without issue. The magnet is strong, and my phone holds firm when mounted. It is also nice that I can rotate my phone to any angle without moving the holder at all, very versatile, and less stress on the holder. It can be extended out, turned up or down, or rotated as desired, so the possibilities are many. For less than I paid for the bigger holder that did not work as well, this one is a great deal. Just be sure that your phone is MagSafe or you have a MagSafe case on it. It will hold the phone rock solid. The black color looks great and compliments the black interior of my F150. Read more
