Cons: 1) Even with the max volume on the speaker and the max volume on my phone and then holding the speaker up flat to my ear—I could hear it was playing SOMEthing—but you couldn’t recognize WHAT was playing. Tried music & an audiobook and you couldn’t hear either with speaker held flat against your ear, or under the pillow with you lying on the pillow in bed, as advertised. I wasn’t expecting fantastic quality—it’s a cheap, FLAT speaker, after all. But to not be able to tell what song/book is playing is unexcusable. 2) I was not able to get the built in “white noise machine” function to work. Pros: 1) It’s really easy to attach to your phone’s bluetooth. No problems there! Unknown: 1) Timer. What’s the point of testing that if you can't hear anything? Returning - Do not recommend. I recently tried this new pillow speaker and I’m honestly impressed. It’s very thin and lightweight, so you can place it under your pillow without feeling it at all. I like listening to relaxing music or podcasts before sleeping, and this speaker lets me do that comfortably without wearing headphones. The sound is clear and just loud enough for me to hear while lying down, but it doesn’t disturb anyone else in the room. Connecting it to my phone was very easy through Bluetooth, and the battery lasts all night. This is a great product if you enjoy listening to music, audiobooks, or white noise while falling asleep. Sound- like a cheap no bass 1 inch speaker sounds. Only the person with it in their pillow? Nope. It's loud enough to be annoying to anyone else around as it's just a super soft speaker. They will barely hear it and if you are anything like me when I can barely hear something it would drive me nuts. Think of it as if your upstairs neighbors had a party where the music was up enough for you to hear it but not enough the cops would do anything about it. AND again 0 bass. ON THE OTHER HAND if you living by yourself and you just need something that soft to put you to sleep,then perfect. Pros: The sound is as advertised. Cons: The Battery dies in the middle of the night with a recording to charge it. Will wake you up after a few hours of falling asleep. This would get 5 stars if the battery lasted. Read more
